Would you also take Young over Marques Colston's 70 receptions for 1018 yards and 8 TD?

Matt Leinart's numbers were better than Vince Young's in 2006. That's sad.

Young didn't deserve it.
That's why I said what I said. Young's contribution was more as an offensive wild card. Strictly speaking, his quarterbacking was at best, suspect - at worst, pitiful. But you add his 550 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns, it paints a much different picture. Young managed to get a team going nowhere to the brink of the playoffs on what amounts to his own unique play making ability.

I will say this, that Young locked up that award during a six-game winning streak that started week 11. So there's still a chance that Bradford could change my mind.

If the Rams go out and win 5 straight and finish 9-7/8-8 - which would likely win that division in a rout, he just might earn the award outright. It's still a little early to call this one over, I'd say.

rouble for Bryant

8:11AM ET
Dez Bryant | Cowboys

The emergence of rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant has been one of the bright spots on offense for the Dallas Cowboys over the past several weeks, but he laid a goose-egg on Thanksgiving Day in coming up with zero catches.
Bryant was visibly frustrated on the sideline, having to be calmed down by players and coaches in between plays. However, the feeling of frustration regarding Bryant's play was mutual, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com.
Watkins writes: "The rookie receiver finished with zero catches. But it was his inability to know what to do several times down the stretch that gives the Cowboys pause going forward with him. At least twice, Kinta yelled at Bryant after there appeared to be miscommunication on pass plays. The Cowboys have to fix this quick."
Bryant is one of the league's most physically gifted receivers, and figures only to improve next year as he heads into his sophomore campaign. However, he's going to have to be on the same page as his QBs in key moments if he's going to emerge as the team's No. 1 target.

Yep. That's what you get with Dez Bryant: a phenomenal talent who falls asleep during meetings, runs the wrong routes, and pouts when he doesn't get the ball.

He still looks like a future superstar, but he's also going to be a big headache for the Cowboys' coaching staff.

Dezzie is one of those bros that is an emotional wreck about everything, from extreme highs to extreme lows.

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree.

It's not fair to expect the Rams defense to get Bradford wins and say that he only gets to OROY if he can win more football games. He's doing his part. The defense isn't doing theirs. Unlike in 2006 with Vince Young.

WOW did you see how much Dez helped the cowboys win last night?...................
In Randy Moss' rookie season he went four straight games without more than 65 yards and didn't score a touchdown in any of them.

It's not logical to think that a rookie should be able to produce great numbers every game.

Sam Bradford 308 yards and 3 TD's today with zero INT's.

Too bad he's not a rookie of the year candidate.
