I am more excited for this game than any other game the whole year!!! (Other than Browns-Steelers II.)

If Seattle can beat The Rams, AT HOME, the Seattle Seahawks will be the first losing team in NFL history to win their division.

I will throw a party with Bill Belichick if this happens.

Sad part of this is the fact that Green Bay or Tampa Bay, two teams deserving to be in the playoffs, may lose out to a team below .500. And, the AFC West winner actually hosts a playoff game. Silly. If you look at the stats, the Seahawks are similar to the Browns.

There should be a rule about a sub .500 team that wins a division forfeiting its rights to the playoffs for a better team in the interest of television contracts, or better yet, if there is no +.500 team in the division, no division champion is declared and that division loses all rights to field a playoff team.

Bump this one. Seattle is up 10-6 in the 4th and driving. If they hold on, they will win the division 7-9 and I believe they will host a playoff game against the Saints.

Gotta love the thought of the 2007 10-6 Browns didn't make the playoffs and the 7-9 Seahawks are contending for a Superbowl.
