Default Manning Goes to 9-10 in the Playoffs

I'd rather have Jake Delhomme in the playoffs.

Problem is, Peyton can't beat these 3-4 defenses. He's almost ineffective. Revis shut down Reggie Wayne, as expected, and the Colts kept trying to throw the Jets off with 3rd and long draw plays (which worked a couple of times), but it wasn't going to keep working.

If Manning had Dallas Clark and Austin Collie, this game would have most likely been a different outcome. But when Garcon is the only guy getting open, it's hard to make plays.

Peyton Manning is one of those QB's I love to see lose. Now that the Colts are out, I can focus my ire on the Steelers and the Jets. Couple good games to start out the playoffs though, hopefully that continues into Sunday.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

I like P. Manning. He kind of reminds me of Favre. They both got their ring and both put up huge numbers. Manning will continue to put up huge numbers but I dont think he'll ever win another super bowl. But he could one day break Favre's consecutive starts record.

NE, SD, Dallas earlier this year when they had their 3 game losing streak. This Jets game.

He got shut down by KC as they barely won that game this year.

Peyton's always struggled with 3-4 teams. NE and SD seem to always have his number.

Perhaps I shouldn't say he doesn't "win" versus 3-4 teams, because he's obviously won. But he struggles heavily. It's no secret that the 3-4 defense gives him fits.

Yeah I think that is because - IMO - some of the best DC's out there are running the 3-4. Now that may be a biased opinion for sure, but by and large I "think" that there are more Very Good 3-4 DC's out there for him to run into. PIT(LeBeau), KC (w/RAC), NYJ (Ryan), BAL, DEN/MIA (Nolan coached), SD (Rivera) - man you're talking about some good coaches there.
