not to be too flippant, but OH GOD I hope we don't draft a Tannehill at 37, the arguments of him starting or McCoy early next season would be agonizing to live through agian! I'd much rather see a Barkly or Jones in the top 10. Then you just move on from Colt for good or bad.

so we can't. i see.

on a different tack, i've watched A&M a few times this year, and tannehill looks like shit, i've got to say. if you want to talk about a run-first guy who's not at all polished throwing the ball, look his way.

what makes him an attractive NFL prospect? because i don't see it at all.

If Barkley is there at 5, you need to take him, even if you still think McCoy may be the QB. There isn't a player at 5 that jumps out unless we take a OL, the WR aren't worth a top 5 nor are CB or DL. Maybe the Alabama RB, Trent Richardson.

At 5, we'd be in the same position as two years ago when we were 7 and taking Haden, you don't pass up on a talent because you think you may have good enough CB.

Indanapolis 0-10 probably take Luck, even with Peyton Manning ***
St. Louis 2-7, already drafted Bradford
Minnesota 2-6 already drafted Ponder
Carolina 2-7 already drafted Cam Newton
Miami 2-7 needs a QB ***
Jacksonville 3-6 drafted a QB
Arizona 3-6 traded for Kolb
Cleveland 3-6 Browns don't have as much an investment in McCoy as the other teams in their QB. ***

Barkley could fall into our laps, especially if Miami wins a few
