Yup, since we only seem to roll 8, sometimes 9 players at a time. I fully expect Delly to be one of the guys rotting away on the bench.

Don't get me wrong would like to Shump get better in all ways. him & JR did not have the bone head moments i seen them have with the Knicks as often.

A SG guards SG's duh lol would be nice to have a more balanced one imo.
getting a top 20 guy on both sides like Stuckey (3y @ $21 mil) this off season. but could we have done that ? it's about the same $.

What happened with Tayshaun Prince ?
    waiting

How scary is it Mr Magoo matching wits with Popovich ... sexing nightmare !

Not always the case in a sg checking another sg. For example, a matchup against the clippers or thunder, I'd have Shump checking cp3 and westbrook. Saves Kyries legs quite a bit by guarding a dion Waiters or JJ Reddick, and Shump in my eyes is a better defender than Kyrie, and would do a better job of shutting those guys down. At 6'5, Shump can realistically defend a point, 2 or 3man. I'm hoping 10 mil a year ends up being a great deal for a defensive specialist(Maybe?). Question is, can we stay healthy? Shump and Kyrie?

Delly I think can bring some valuable mins off the bench at the 2. He'll die defending and there is no doubt in my mind he's working on his shooting this offseason. I felt like he was shaky handling the ball vs GS in the finals, like Curry didn't respect him, defending him off the dribble right after he crossed the timeline in most cases. Playing at the 2 would give him some separation to be effective on offense IMO.

Only problem is he's not a great player offensively. He may be useful but seems small for a SG, but I like his defensive tenacity. Mo/Delly backcourt isn't the worst but... I still want a 2 Guard.

If Shump guards a 1 or a 2 he is not a stopper (who is ?) those 2 positions on most teams score. on the other end he doesn't score much. the fact is is he going to be different than last year ? not much. and he ranked 39th. he is not a Tony Allen on D and now paid twice as much. not my $ lol

How is Delly going to change his shot ?
is there any other player that takes that long to set himself ? he must be WIDE open.
love his hustle if he had the body of D12 he would average 30 and 20 a night but he don't.
imo he is David's fav player he see himself in him, that will get him minutes a few anyway.

Gerald Green is good too, guy can be a firecracker on offense and plays underrated D.
    He's a heat.
they picked up Amar'e Stoudemire also. if healthy they are better. 1 year later and bang again a top team in the east right there with the Bulls imo

Damn, Pat Riley's added Gerald Green and Justise Winslow this offseason - he's looking to give LeBron trouble...

That might actually happen, because I think they'll only keep Wade on the cheap going forward - his one yr at $20M was a peace offering. MIA will add a big star next offseason (they're hoping Durant) and that's when Riley and MIA could be a real threat to the Cavs' crown.

Green and Winslow are the type of guys that make LeBron work hard getting to the basket....

Shump can essentially guard a pg,sg,sf. Sf is what I meant by 3man. At 6'5 guarding anyone in the backcourt in my eyes is a stopper if that is their main role.
I wouldn't change Delly's shot. Just want him to be automatic/consistently make his J's when left open. With Love, Lebron and Kyrie on the floor penetrating, he's the guy they cheat off of. He just has to knock it down. Just saying, I'm more interested in defensive players with the amount of scorers we already have. He made quite a few plays getting to the rim in the playoffs, made me cringe most times he put up the floaters, but they seemed to fall lol

Tossing All the numbers aside that these 2 have had in the past, which are not first class. they like JR had the chances of a lifetime in the Finals and came up with the second place trophy. no what If's .....they were there and failed. now all three of them want a raise for failing. $hit your pants and get more money ....what a life.

Shump - he missed the last shoot in game 1. ...no hero there.
Delly - he was not drafted for many reasons and we have seen them over and over.

Bottom line the off season is where you improve your team.... what have we done ?
Mo Williams - Mo Williams Mo Williams Mo Williams.... (in my best 8 year old voice) that's what i got under my Xmas tree ! .........not impressed.

Speaking of Mo now that we know LBJ is ok with him.. why did we not make a play for him at the trade deadline ? smh

It is lonely at the top. lol

Reports that we've landed Richard Jefferson.

How much gas does he have left in the tank?

He played near 17 minutes a game last year. if he could play 13 subbing for LBJ that would enough.
will Mr Magoo see him on the bench ? lol

    Perkins gone to New Orleans.

I like this signing. Good 3 pt shooter....and to add to what Mad said, if it gives LBJ even 10 min more rest reg season/game and 5 in the playoffs I'm all for it...and I think those numbers will be more.

Best I can tell our roster is the above. and yes those top 5 should start/finish imo. the advantage of having TT makes that line up work, if we don't use it shame on David.
don't think LBJ will let Delly go from lack of $ lol

But we have got zip so far. heard we talked to Tayshaun Prince he still looked pretty good last year. itching for some new blood on the bench that can score some.

With The Champ signed roster filling up. if we get Tayshaun... we would a have Bench !
that would makes us at 16 players with Delly. who goes ?
    not much to talk about

We traded Christmas to Indy for a draft pick.

Signing Jefferson makes signing Prince kind of irrelevant. Honestly Prince is a bum signing. He was not fun to watch in Memphis but with a smaller role perhaps he would be bearable.

Tayshaun's minutes would be half of the 24 he played last year if that (David). watching him last year his defense still good. not like he will be asked to score much. he did shoot 46% from 3 last year not that he took a ton of them 31-67.
some games I watched he had to score due to the others he played with, if he did not score his + - suffered.

With Miller likely to be a 14th or 15 th man next year imo. and most of our bench STILL on their last legs he would be better insurance than Miler. imo

Miller would've been an ideal backup PG IMO.
