Excellent post as always BDU. You were on poiby with pretty much everything.

    My only beef is #9

Putting myself in his shoes on that one.. it would most certainly seem like I am about to die.

He was probably concerned with a bat down and/or sack at that moment

The time has come! Our Dynasty lies ahead!

I can happily report that he made throws under much more pressure than he did at #9. I'm not sure that would phase him.

Any chance you can put quarter/score to go with plays?

In watching the re-play of the game yesterday on NFL Network, it became clear to me that Manziel does have some difficulty seeing over the big men in the pocket. He's going to need to figure that out or he's going to continue to miss a lot of open receivers.

But when I watched the second half, a lot of the problem was NOT Manziel, but those around him. I came away from watching that re-play yesterday thinking that Manziel, yes, can be the Browns QB in 2016 and the Browns should focus in other areas for the draft. If the Browns can add some WR and RB talent and improve the running game and pass blocking, Manziel can be quite effective, I think.

Weird to be so butthurt about last year to start your screenshots
Its not weird at all. Our entire community had to put up with morons excusing Johnny Alcohol for looking like a bad high school QB.

Yea, there is no bias there.

Boat I'm not sure where you're coming from here. BDU gave a glowing evaluation of JM while many are just looking at passer rating type stuff without context and film breakdown. Very big stuff from BDU, considering his evaluation of JM last year.

Secondly, who is the quotation from in your first post. I agree with letting Johnny be Johnny a lot more, but the thing he needs to develop is exactly what BDU demonstrated. Hit some check downs and the world will open up down the field and outside the pocket.

He started the thread basically calling me out.

@JoeGoodberry: Rich Eisen and Dre Kirkpatrick talking about Manziel. Browns fans will probably find this interesting. https://t.co/6pdOxe4W4a

I am just sorry I missed the post. I guess it was up for an hour and a half, but I made the mistake of running an errand and missed it. Send me a PM, BDU, and I will read it. I probably won't agree with some parts of it, but will enjoy reading it nevertheless. I assume that BS won't be able to intrude into our PMs.

It was a real good analysis of Manziel's throws the other night.

Then he ought to put it back.

BDU needs to understand that a good argument will stand on its merits. It doesn't matter what someone might or might not say about it. The only thing that matters is the strengths and weaknesses of the argument--not the way it is received.

I may have it wrong, but my impression is that BDU removed the post due to an objection on how it was received. Regarding that, I think he should read my signature. Any attempt to stifle descent is both useless and counterproductive. If he wants to be a preacher, he should get himself a pulpit. The purpose of a forum like this is to cuss and discuss. Some like to cuss more than others, of course.

    That's for BDU to decide.

It was a really long post and it probably took a considerable amount of time to put up so I doubt he had typed it up in a word document beforehand.

I'll be closing the thread since the original OP was deleted.

I will look into it. Not native functionality, but maybe there is a mod.

It was a well done, extremely pro Manziel post btw.
