Tribe is hot! On a 5 game streak heading into tomorrows game at B'more. Kluber to kick off the 4 game set. Bauer and Clevinger pitching well lately. Encarnacion and Jose' raking. It's all good.
Unfortunately all I get are highlights and an occasional game on TV out here in CO. MLB Tonight was doing live look ins the other night only to see Kluber pitch well and the team went downhill in a 4-2 loss after he came out. A friend in Ohio told me he gets no run support when he pitches. Looks like they're all bunched up and no clear-cut fav in the division.......Go Tribe!

That's pretty much it. They win 3 and lose 2. Win 4 and lose 3. Go 7-1 on a road trip to get swept at home immediately after.

Still not showing any games out west. I see that they are heating up winning 6 of 9 and in first place. Bats are hot and pitching good at the moment. I'm hoping they don't look back and run away with the division. Go Tribe!

Their last game against the Tigers was on Sunday night baseball on ESPN.

    I guess you missed it?

    Cool

Jose Ramirez is starting to get attention for MVP especially after his All-Star performance.

And this catcher Mejia kid in AA is probably added to the roster in the September call ups. He can hit much better than Gomes or Perez. I'm just not sure about his defense. And Gomes has been a burden on the offense this year...again. "He calls a good game.", is getting old and he needs some AAA time to work out his bat or move on.

Kipnis too. A no range, barely hitting injury prone 2nd baseman doesn't help much when Gonzalez can play there or Jose Ramirez can be put back to his natural position there and bring up Giovanni Urshela to play 3rd. Urshela may not hit well, but certainly would be a ++glove at the hot corner to add to Lindor and Ramirez. That would be a hella good defensive alignment. Anyway.

    GO TRIBE!!!

Caught an AM game day after the Tigers borderline raped the Blue Jays... thankfully they didn't play like complete ass, not for lack of trying.

Wonder if they have a series with the Tribe coming up.

The Jays come to The Land this weekend. You'll get Kluber, Bauer and Tomlin in that order.

Lima on 92.3 said it best this morning. They keep finding ways to lose.

I hear that. They need to treat every game like a playoff game from here on out.

Still lots of baseball left to play and the AL Central is going to be a pretty tight race. I bet it goes down to the final week of baseball. No team in that division is playing real consistent baseball.
