2021 ESPN FPI is out and it's a little, well, interesting.

1. Alabama
- They lost Waddle, Smith, Jones and OC Sarkisian. The Tide come into the season with an unproven QB in Bryce Young. He is very slight...maybe 5'10" and rail thin. It will be interesting to see if he makes it through the season healthy.

2. Oklahoma
- The Sooners are going to be every media outlet's preseason darling. They finished the season hot and Rattler improved big time through out the season. I don't buy them at #2 for a minute. They always choke during the regular season (Iowa State, Kansas State, etc...). The defense is always mediocre. We'll see.

3. Clemson
- Lost Trevor, Etienne and starting LT Carmen on offense. The good news is that in 2 starts, DJ proved he might be the best QB in America. The Defense returns everybody.

4. Iowa State
- This one is interesting. Great coach in Campbell and return starting QB Purdy. They could challenge the Sooners for the Big 12, but #4 is a little high IMO.

5. Ohio State
- QB is a huge question mark. Neither Miller or Stroud have the talent of Fields. The good news is that OSU has one of the best WR duo's in American for either QB to lean on. The defense will always reload. I would have them at 4 behind Alabama, Clemson and UGA.

6. Texas A&M
- Another interesting move. A&M is a perennial underachiever. Jimbo is replacing Mond at QB, but that might be an improvement. The still have the juggernaut called Alabama to deal with in the SEC West.

7. UGA
- Way too low. They return an absolutely nasty front 7 and their entire offense. They should be top 5 at worst.

Going to be another fun season. As far as the CFP goes, you can most likely pencil in Alabama (until somebody in the SEC proves otherwise), Clemson and Ohio State (B1G is terrible). The only real question is who the 4th team will be this year. Oklahoma? Oregon? A second SEC team? LFG!!!!

ESPN stated 'modeling errors' in their initial ranking which they corrected and have now re-ranked the teams. Here we go...

Great game last night. It turned into a wild one and a win, but now this defense needs some fixin'!
