I, too, have harsh words for Mark McGuire. However, no one cares what I think.

In this respect, Carlton Fisk and I are exactly alike.
 
This will only get worse as time passes. The simple fact of the matter is that PED's altered the field so dramatically that any type of historical comparison of the steroid era to a non-steroid era is impossible.
 
As for Fisk: wow. He's my hero. LOVE LOVE LOVE these comments. Glad to see someone step up and say what many of us are feeling. Good for him.

And if anybody has the right to call out cheaters for avoiding putting in the pain for the gain, it's Fisk. Dude caught into his FORTIES.

Now THAT is a baseball player. Good for you, Pudge! You're still the all-time leader in CLEAN games played (you're a cheater too, Pudge 2).
