Most Underrated Players?

Because I'm a nerd I was watching some old basketball games on Youtube. This one game was the Bullets vs the Bulls back in 1990. Great ending by the way.



Bernard King was a beast though. I have vague remembrances of when he played for the Bullets. In that game above he dropped 44 and more than held his own versus Michael.

Wasn't uncommon after his knee surgery to drop close to 50 points in a game as well. Even before the emphasis on the 3 point shot like today:



To me he was a very underrated baller. It took till only a few years back to get inducted into the Hall of Fame.

I'd tend to say Ehlo was underrated as well. All people remember him for as being terrorized by Michael when he was a solid player/defender in his career

BK was a Beast. he was better before the knee. don't think he was underrated by anyone who watched him.

Ehlo was a good defender. but should have never been posterized. the biggest mistake by Wayne Embry was trading Ron Harper for Ferry. it upset our growth.
imo we could have taken the Bulls one year. remember everyone, even my friends saying Ferry is the next Larry Bird. I nearly cried that day and told everybody Ferry was a CBA center. justly Harper ended up with 5 rings. the 86-89 team was the best we ever had. I dream of pulling Mike Sanders off that team and adding LBJ. WOW

How about overrated players Danny Ferry.

My everlasting memory of Ferry was him being escorted out of game in the 92' eastern Conference Finals for fighting. For whatever reason that stood out in my mind.

But yeah Ferry I do remember as being case in point why you don't draft Dukies.
