For reference, last year, we were 6-5 at the week 11 mark. Can Brissett be as good as Baker was for that stretch, since we feel the rest of the team is improved? (Keenum may have won a couple in there. I forget which games he started).

The other major improvement is Cade York making FG's that last year KS would go for it on fourth down. He did not trust McLaughlin to even make an XP.
A good kicker last year gets us two more wins and changes this offense a ton.

Also, a good punter that can change field position for this defense on the reg.

#6 has had a full camp and looks the business.carolina has a good pass rush.we could easily get torched in charlotte, gulp.

True, but keep in mind 2020 was year one, 2021 had like 9 new starters on D. This year the majority of the D starters are carry over as starters last year, or at least with the team all of last year. Part of that "experimenting" is based on new personnel.

This is close to what you're asking, but not quite. From The Athletic

How the Browns would fare if Brissett started the entire season:
  • Browns’ odds to make the playoffs: 11.1%
  • Browns’ odds to win the AFC North: 4.5%
  • Browns’ odds to win the Super Bowl: 0.5%

New Browns projections with Brissett playing the first 11 games and Watson the rest:
  • Browns’ odds to make the playoffs: 36.4%
  • Browns’ odds to win the AFC North: 23.2%
  • Browns’ odds to win the Super Bowl: 2.9%
 
I heard there are benchmarks of some sort. I guess it's just attendance and if it's just that then he should be back as scheduled. I don't know the details.
