The way too early 53-man projection

weve drafted specific players for specific roles across the board
thats the real reason our draft looks so good.Ive been sayin it for years.this is how it should be done
you see great D players flounder with some teams because they dont have a clear role
JOK is going to be our #47 lynch in this T2 D. we can blitz him from the box.versatile? this is a DC dream.
So a really good draft its an A from me.

As much as I like Mack Wilson he's going to have to ball out just to make the roster. It's not looking good for him right now.

Also the first few games to start last year we carried 9 OLinemen. If we do the same this year we have a roster spot somewhere else and I'm not sold on Harris just yet. He needs to bulk up and get stronger.

Harris is a big ol' q-mark for sure.

The good: When Tretter was out during camp, there was lots of talk that there wasn't any talk about him. No missed counts, bad snaps, and blocking was solid. We didn't hear a peep, an o-lineman's dream. Quiet and reliable.

The bad: The only live bullet action we saw him in last year was when he was at G, and he hasn't played there in so long, it's hard to conclude anything from it.

So, many of us didn't think there was room for 9 rookies on this roster, and we drafted 8, but after further review (assuming they show well enough to keep for 2021) ...
  • Round 1: No. 26 – Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern ... (possibly) bumps Greedy to the T-Mitch roll
  • Round 2: No. 52 (from CHI through CAR ) – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame - Mack Wilson on life support
  • Round 3: No. 91 – Anthony Schwartz, WR, Auburn - see ya JoJo
  • Round 4: No. 110 – James Hudson, OT, Cincinnati - swing OT, replaces Lamm
  • Round 4: No. 132 – Tommy Togiai, DT, Ohio State - takes Sheldon's roster spot
  • Round 5: No. 153 (from DET) – Tony Fields II, LB, West Virginia - newest ST linebacker, replaces the Meander/Lee type
  • Round 5: No. 169 – Richard LeCounte, S, Georgia - see ya Redwine
  • Round 6: No. 211 – Demetric Felton, WR, UCLA - it's either him, or D'Ernest

Is this the old stigma of Browns history or what? Chubb is arguably the best RB and easily in the top 5:

i don't see all the browns draft picks making the team that rarely happens .
