Browns Game Thread Week 11 The Browns host the Lions

I think schwartz is a bust. highly over drafted in the 3rd round because of his 40 time.
leaving players like micheal carter RB and rashad weaver DE on the board as well as a plethora of talent at safety (lecounte was a good pick)
this game should be a cakewalk. browns dominate 33-13 and we go 6-5 at home

,,,The third round has the second highest number of receivers drafted with 52 but only a 25% success rate.

Schwartz is looking more and more like a bust, but he is a third round pick. The odds are against third round picks to play at a high level.

...8. I’m still trying to figure out how Baltimore lost to lowly Miami. Or how the Bengals lost to the Jets. Or even without Ben Roethlisberger, how Pittsburgh tied Detroit. Those three teams with winning records went 0-2-1 to three teams with a combined record of 5-22-1.

9. The point is the Browns are 5-5, not 2-8 ... or even 0-8-1. That’s the record Detroit brings to town Sunday. At 5-5, I don’t replace Woods, as some fans want to do. At least not now. That can be a subject for after the season...

I'm hoping that for this game Woods gets the blitzes going seeing as we are playing a backup QB who is making his first NFL start since 2017 when he started for Eastern Kentucky vs St. Francis. For fuck's sake Woods. The D should look impressive, but more importantly than that the scheme/game plan should suffocate this offense from the start and not let up.

Welp? Let’s hope we don’t see “the same ole Browns”. It’s sad but I literally have no confidence even though we are up against the worst team in the league. Baker is playing like shit and if history is accurate, this Joe Woods defense will let a nobody qb have a career game. I hope I’m wrong.

After watching last week, Lions d is bad. Rudolph was handing them the ball and they dropped them. He would have had at least 5 ints. The Eagles blew them out with a non-existent run game.

Here’s to hope!

Hope and beer. Which reminds me. I gotta make a beer run.

It did take a while for Higgins to develop. He's still not really a full time player. But he's still there. I suspect Schwartz is still going to need as much time as Higgins.
