This next drive could make interesting fodder for talk shows, message Baird's, and articles tomorrow. CLE runs out the clock or score a TD will be lots of comparisons to when with Baker they have not had the drives in the 4qtr when they need them to put the game away (Thread reply)

Talk shows need to find something to talk about. We are finally running the clock out. How about talking about Stefanski playcalling? That was the difference today. (Thread reply)

Of course they do. And this will make great fodder for them.

Play calling really isn't much different tonight. A bit less shotgun. (Thread reply)

Give D'Ernest the game ball and sign Stump Mitchell to an extension for whatever amount he wants! (Thread reply)

We ran the ball more consistently. No inventions on first down. Run first and win the game. (Thread reply)

Johnson won over a bunch of fans tonight. Case was very workman like with a few iffy decisions but also some nice touch on passes. The O will still need to evolve with Case. I'll be surprised if Baker is back in less than 3 weeks. (Thread reply)

True. One could then argue that more of that passing is trying to make "fetch happen" with Baker. Or to say when Baker is used the same as Kennum tonight it's a winning formula (i.e. Baker is a game manager). Gone be lots of extreme opinions over the next 10 days is my guess. Get your popcorn ready (Thread reply)

I think your clever dupa is for yourself. Yes all QBs are game managers. But that is not the context or how the term is used, or will be used come the next 10 days, which you know. (Thread reply)

Unless Keenum totally fucks up, he should start the rest of the season. He will improve with each week as the timing and chemistry gels with the offense. By by buddy boy 👋👋🖐🖐🖐 (Thread reply)

Baker should miss several games if not shelved. He has a broken bone in his shoulder. I have thoughts. I wanna see more of Case though. Case is everything I wish Baker was and Baker is everything I wish Case was. In other words, neither is a franchise QB. They are both journeymen. One has a rocket arm with ZERO touch and a difficulty seeing the field. The other see's the field, has great touch, and a noodle arm.

This is the saddest post I remember on a Browns board since someone cheered when Derek Anderson got injured (it was the Browns Board at the time). (Thread reply)

I war really pissed at Stefanski for not using him last Sunday vs the Cardinals with Chubb hurt. He is more a replacement for Chubb than Hunt. D'Ernest is more a "north-south" running back.
I think next offseason one between Hunt and Johnson will go. If Felton improves through the year, it migh well be that Johnson stays. But he should be off to bigger money with an other team. (Thread reply)

Johnson is a big ST's contributor. I don't think he's leaving until we have a reasonable ST's replacement for him. (Thread reply)

Well then you’re an idiot too! No one is cheering because buddyboy got hurt. On the flip side of that, I am not opposed to a mediocre qb getting benched for a better qb. Due to injury or not. (Thread reply)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: they need to shut Baker down for the rest of the season, get the surgery he needs, come back next season 100%. He's not going to play well even if he takes 3 games off or 4 or 5. It's not a minor injury. You use all your upper body to accurately throw a football. Baker threw the ball extremely well against the Chiefs. And until he tried the tackle. He's not going to throw it well until he gets well. (Thread reply)
