The 2016 NBA Finals Warriors vs. Cavaliers

That was a good video, I never saw Price play but he's highly regarded and IMO probably a much better overall PG than Kyrie.

Price was a fearless floor general.. Our bench was garbage.. Our defense outside of Larry Nance was soft.. Daugherty was't a real banger,, just long and wide.. Good.. not great center in My view.. Trading Ron Harper for the rights to Danny Ferry was outright stupid. But Price could run rings around Kyrie.. Kyrie is decent but will never be elite in My view.. Id rather have Chris Paul if I could.

Had season tickets for the late 80s Cavs. Price could play little defense due to his size and foot speed. did not shoot well with a hand up, wide open another story he was deadly. what he did have was large rim defenders down low.

You are spot on with the Harper trade had a buddy who was high on Ferry as where many he was to be the next Larry Bird many talking heads said. my buddy called me to talk about that trade, I told him Ferry is a CBA center... he told me I was crazy. history

Going to bed at 5:45 am has never been sweeter.
I don't know if we re-opened the series. But I do know that if we play defense we're NBA Championship caliber.
Are we ready to spend the next two days hearing how better are the Cavs without Kevin Love? :lalala:

I'll be the first to say that I feel that the Cavs should keep starting Jefferson. Give Love minutes but keep Jefferson on the starting 5.

Love has 28 & 14 Friday we win again and the haters will pout. rough being the Yankees folks.

Another must win Friday that much is true. but all the hype between these games is priceless for a Clevelander. we sports fans who live on crumbs sitting at the big boys table. just hoping to make it to dessert.

Go Cavs

Jefferson is playing with a sense of urgency, I agree.

I agree Love is overrated. Getting Durant would be very expensive.

And how do we get rid of Love outside of cutting him? His salary is too huge to trade.

Not that I see this happening but OKC just might take Love. he's better than nothing that's for sure and they could lose KD and get that nothing.

Getting all 3 of these wheels going together has been hard at times but when they are rolling they can roll over teams. Defense in the league is a team effort and it works best when your shooting lights out. watch a replay of these past 3 games as the proof.

Go Cavs

Love is overrated in My view.. Id let him walk and try to get Durant.

Pretty sure we signed him to a multi-year deal. The only way we'd be rid of him immediately is by trading him. I don't know but I'd argue his value may have taken a hit in Cleveland.

Holy crap we have a pulse...a thing of beauty. Now to keep that "funk" on their side of the floor and away from us. These guys likely won't go all deer in the headlights the rest of the way out. If we could tie it up then punch them in the mouth and take game 5 I may have a fangasm.

Love isn't overrated as I look at him; he's been largely misused until very, very recently. He needs touches on the blocks, at the elbow/short wing in addition to spotting up/stretching the defense. He's also not versatile enough to fit every line-up structure (i.e., "small ball") so I would expect his minutes to vary in certain playoff series.

He is an exceptional rebounder, passer, outlet passer, and scorer (from 3 point range in). He's also been a top flight team mate by all reports considering how much he is used as a foil and how difficult his "fitting in" has been.

He'll play a bunch Friday if he's healthy. If the small ball lineup is working again with RJ at the 3, Bron at the 4, and TT at the 5 I would expect him to rotate with TT some at the small-ball 5 spot. We give up TT's better mobility on the defensive end and relentless offensive rebounding but pick up another floor spacer, scoring threat on the offensive end with that switch.

All comes down to defense; as LeBron knows and talks about all the time. Looking forward to Friday night.

Defense isn't Love's specialty either. I'm hearing Love may be considered for duty off the bench. He just hasn't been as prolific with the outside shot as he was advertised to be. He's still a hella rebounder and passer as you said. I'd like to see him be more productive in the finals than the first two games and step up his D in the paint.

We still have to win the next game and avoid being down to the closeout game going back to Oakland.

I gotta say Dan Gilbert is the best damn owner in all of sports right now. Giant kudos to him and I hope it pays off.

All Hail Dan Gilbert!!

I've said this locally for years. anyone who would pay Shaq 20 million with so little in his tank a real guy that wants us to be the Champs dam the cost.

That said if we win it all he should sell asap. team will never have more value.
