Browns The 2025 hunt for a QB

its far too early to say.If he is a starting NFL QB his "value" on a rookie contract becomes astronomical
picketts is more of an evaluated commodity already as a backup QB worth a 5th.not very valuable.
watch this space..
No it's not. They're both in the NFL and it doesn't matter if they're on the same team or not.

No different than Wills or Jones at LT. They both have a value.

I'd say Pickett's value is low, mainly because it's considered to be a loaded QB class in '26, thus, there's not much to be gained for a QB needy team, like the Saints, to trade a draft asset for a QB who will likely just put them in first round no man's land.

Sanders isn't even on the table, and like his draft value, it's all over the map.

Sidenote: I'm still calling out "the circus" fear is 100% bullshit. Jackson State and Colorado loved the attention, and the improvement. Shedeur boasts about how he's not an off field problem, and has the track record to prove it.
Interesting yeah. Picket seems like a bridge/project.
I think the Circus is a self fulfilling prophesy that happens by default when your father is Deion Sanders and you dont exactly behave humble yourself.

Pickett is easily our least valuable QB. Flacco is a lock. He didn't return to be cut. That' s obvious. He's demonstrated he can be very successful in this system. He'll be the starter. The kids are a lock too. They're home picked and grown. Gabriel is a Stefanski favorite and Sanders is Haslam's money maker. We're going to learn about these boys through the season.

The minute Sanders fell ended Pickett's stay here. Expect him New Orleans sometime in the summer. And good for him. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities in his country. I think he'll like it there.

ol man joe will be great to get us started and set a benchmark of play for our rooks.
one of these kids will rise and shine through the long season and become our new starter.
prolly after joe gets hurt.I wouldn't love one of these rookies as the starter right away.
I DGAF how excited mary kay gets.I dont think sanders should start game 1.period

Let the best QB start. I don't care who it is. How tall he is. How weak armed he is. How unathletic he is. Or how old he is.

Start the best QB.
Shannahan, who is a no-fucks-given coach, knew in week 1 of training camp that Purdy was the best QB (his GM told the story the following year). Better than first round 6'4" Lance and better than Jimmy G.
Yet, he started Lance, who promptly got hurt, and then Jimmy G for a dozen games, until he got hurt. Purdy didn't get in until week 13.

I fear Flacco is going to have to lose his way out of the job, or get injured. I think Sanders can outperform Pickett and the imp to get to #2 though, when the time comes.

I've not watched much of any of these QB's except Flacco with the Ravens and Pickett a couple of games here & there.

Nobody impresses me right now. I'm open to any of these guys being the starter.

I actually think Sanders will be trash in the NFL.. I mean yeah.. He seems like a nice kid... But he has terrible spin velocity and I don't like his pass trajectory... I'm expecting a lot of batted down passes...

If Pickett is a good QB he would still be in Pittsburg.
Name me one single player that Mike Tomlin has developed as a HC. Just one. I'll wait.....

Right, the answer is zero. He has been riding the hype train over inheriting Cowhers players and the zebras hand holding him into the Super Bowl. With Cowhers players.

Mike Tomlin is incapable of developing or coaching up good players into great players, and every great player Pittsburg has lucked into drafting ultimately ends up walking.

yeah! an what would the eagles know about QB development anyway?
just because they won the SB and beat the chiefs pats like dynasty? pffft..
and you laughed yes you did ,YES YOU DID when they drafted hurts,so did I.
53rd overall.
Despite the SJW Media fawning all over Hurts BBC every chance they get, the Eagles have yet to develop a QB and the Defense is the biggest reason they have went to the Super Bowl.

I think you have to mention their running game as a huge factor as well. As far as Hurts goes. . . all he does is win. He's about the 20th best passer in the league. But on that team, he gets it done.

T.J. Watt for 1

I'm guessing you don't care for Mike. but 18 years with no losing seasons. not a bad record. Bill's players been gone for years now.
