For the PFF'ers, he was a top-10 LB in 2023, when he claims the scheme fit was best for him. Sounds like he hasn't liked the LB scheme in 2024/2025

In 2023, Mike Rutenberg was with the New York Jets as their linebackers coach, coaching Quincy Williams directly (Williams has publicly credited "Coach Rudy" for his development during his Jets tenure, including leading into/through 2023).
Williams was a 1st team all pro that year.

A bit Surprised here because this deal is not much less than what we could have re-signed Devin Bush for.. Let's hope he's stellar.. it's a done deal now.
