Comparison

JAX gets:
• Travis Hunter
• 4th round pick
• 6th round pick

CLE gets:
• Two 1st round picks
• 2nd round pick
• 4th round pick

••••

GB gets:
• Micah

DAL gets:
• Two 1st round picks
• An old DT

The diff?
1 - Micah is a proven pro bowler in his prime. Hunter better probowl out to make this compare well.
2 - Browns got two 1sts AND a 2nd.

(the Saturday picks and DT kind of just cancel out. I think the DT is at least “solid”)

As it stands now, the Browns got more for an unproven Travis Hunter than the Cowboys did for proven Micah Parsons. But we’ll see.

You cannot ignore that GB (or any team) had to make a massive financial investment on Micah. Typically that reduces the compensation in a trade.

Player for picks trades and picks for picks trades are almost two different animals.

Hunter is off to a slow start…

• Graham is his class’s top run defender.
• Judkins is top 3 in his class after just one game and zero training camp.
• Sampson is the 4th ranked in his class
• 2026 first rounder tbd

So far, we’ve won this trade

Full look

JAX gets:
• Travis Hunter
• Bhayshul Tuten, RB, VaTech
• Rayuan Lane, S, Navy

CLE gets:
• Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
• Quinshon Judkins, RB, OSU
• Dylan Sampson, RB, TN
• 2026 first rounder, tbd

All three of our RB's (Judkins, Sampson, and Rocket) have out graded Tuten thus far.
Sampson is the top ranked receiver, and that includes TE's and WR's, in his class to this point
Lane has yet to play a snap at safety

It's early, and we still need a QB and maybe a better playcaller, but okay so far

Assessment of trade after week 3 ....

JAX received/drafted:
• Travis Hunter - 133th ranked WR, targets have decrease every week
• Bhayshul Tuten - Judkins and Sampson have outgraded him
• Rayuan Lane - a safety that's yet to play a down on D

CLE received/drafted:
• Mason Graham - top win rate in his class
• Quinshon Judkins - top rookie RB (despite missing game 1) in total yards & YPC (5.14)
• Dylan Sampson - top rookie RB receiver (needs more PT, imo)
• 2026 first rounder, tbd

The Jax trades mid October. Let's throw them together.

JAX received/drafted:
  • Travis Hunter - 1st TD of the year on October 19th
  • Bhayshul Tuten - 130 yards on the season
  • Rayuan Lane - a safety averaging 1 tackle per game
  • Greg Newsome - playing about the same in Jax

CLE received/drafted:
  • Mason Graham - Durable and had a very good game yesterday. Dominating really.
  • Quinshon Judkins - top rusher in the class with one game less than the rest. Offensive Rookie Of The Year candidate
  • Dylan Sampson - still looks great when given the opportunity.
  • 2026 first rounder
  • Tyson Campbell - run tackling grade is exceptional. Yesterday: 28 coverage snaps, 2 targets, 0 receptions allowed, 1 pick-6

Who knows how these two trades will work out in the end. So far, they're both leaning our way.

And, the trade is complete. Now, we wait.

1) Within these players, I like our chance
2) But, it'll probably come down to the HC/QB combo like it did for the Jags last year, and like it always does

Jaguars received/drafted:
• Travis Hunter - CB
• Bhayshul Tuten - RB
• Rayuan Lane - S

Browns received/drafted:
• Mason Graham - IDL
• Quinshon Judkins - RB
• Dylan Sampson - RB
• KC Concepcion - WR

With our luck, we'll win the trade, but Trevor Lawrence has figured it out to the point it wont' matter ;)
