It's a solid move and since it's a 1 year deal doesn't effect next years cap situation. He'd be a solid addition into the rotation..... but if he can get an offer from a contender.. we may be SOL... Doubt he's too worried about the money.. but you never know with these guys.

If we get Clowney, that'll give us THREE top-20 edges, out of 130+ ranked DE's. No other team has that.
The Steelers and Rams have two.
Everyone else has one or none.
The Ravens? One. Bengals? None.
Point of story, losing Myles isn't the problem if we lose this year. It's somewhere else on the team, or the scheme, or sumpthin.
But it's not the current edge players. They're more than fine.
