Browns Do we trade shadeur sanders?

A third is almost as delusional as a 2nd.

but where is the chance for him? he isn't our j love just waiting in the wings
he hasn't been told that. the message to him has been clear & consistent
"you're not good enough" next year we draft a QB (manning stays in NCAA)
so given all that, when? we demand & expect his loyalty but what have we offered him?

I hope Sanders stays ready because he's going to be called on at some point and if he's just as good as Watson is atm we can at least move on from Watson and clear out the QB logjam and maybe, just maybe, we won't be forced to give up draft picks for a rookie QB.

It's his second year as a 5th round draft pick. He wasn't bad last year. I think he has promise as a starter, at least I still have hope of that. He'll get another shot this season. And he'll have a better team around him than last year. I think he's handled this like a pro. When he gets his chance, he'll have to prove he can be a pro on the field too.

It's been done already. I feel we are like the jews, still waiting for their messiah.
would we trade black jesus?

Nah. Sanders throws the ball down the field. I like that. But saying he proved he can be a top-half NFL starting QB based on his play last year is a big stretch. I think he showed some flashes. But he has a lot to prove. Perhaps a young black Hamilton. But not black jesus yet.

TL;DR … a trade is very unlikely

Haymaker needs to settle in and wait like all of us.
He'll just have to be happy with Shed being one injury away from playing.
And here's the reasoning.
This was taken from the dawgsbynature article above:

"There is belief in Sanders and his ability. He’s also on a fifth-round rookie contract for another two-plus years. Berry’s current starting quarterback is not under contract beyond this season and has a history of injuries. Blanket caveat that anything can happen over the next few weeks, but the Browns dealing Sanders by the deadline would be a stunner."

Once upon a time there was a pasty white boy named Bart Starr that had to play behind another QB for three seasons before finally starting, no matter how much talent he had. This kind of thing still happens. And it shouldn't surprise anyone.
Shedeur won't be playing until the coach says so.
