Godammit! The Young Man (Sanders) knows how to build hype. If I wasn't a recent Gabriel fan, I may have collapsed with a heart attack from that level of hype. The NEXT Brady... Gabriel picked 5. I always liked Donovan McNabb.

Really. His team is raising a stink about it, implying the Browns are not letting him have the #2 for reasons they knew were coming, whatever those may be. Questioning why a newly signed WR would get it over Sanders. Yes, they are crying already.
 
Tidbits:

Cam Newton wanted #2 when drafted by the Panthers in 2011, but he was denied, because Jimmy flippin Clausen wanted it, and had seniority, as a 2nd year player 🤣

Deion wore #2 at FSU, but that wasn’t allowed in the NFL for a CB at the time, so he made #21 work.

Now Shedeur is going to go from #2 to #12. Notice there hasn’t been one complaint from Shedeur about any of it. About the slide. About the jersey number. Zip.

So, let’s see if he can keep his nose down and grind.
