BARKING HARD Member Introductions and Map... Please drop in and say hello!

Hey Andrew, I remember watching Jim Brown, Lou Grozzo, and all the other great Browns of the glory days. Best team in the NFL for many years. I think you are going to be pleased with Manziel. He's a game changer, a competitor, a super athlete and a leader. Things are about to heat up in Cleveland. You guys really don't know what you got. IMO, by next year the Browns will be in the playoffs and by 2017 I hope they play in Houston for the Super Bowl. We'll see. it's going to be fun!! I'm hoping passing on JFF sticks in their throats. Texans are not known for making the best football decisions...Larry

Another Aggie here, and an old Oilers fan going all the way back to their origin. For years now, I've been without an NFL home. Lived In Dallas in their heyday, but just couldn't identify. I'm just not a bandwagon kind of guy. This feels different.. I hope you've got room for one more.

Hello,

Darryl is the first name. Raised in Cleveland Hgts, then Euclid until I was 15. I live in SC and I'm 61, which is old enough to have gone to games and watched Jim Brown. I only managed to go to 3 games though. Ha. Lifelong fan here and I'm getting excited about what appears to be change on the way.
Thanks

Darryl

been on other browns boards but they were either shut down (dawgtalkers, brownschat) or just rain poorly with all kinds of trolls and flamers. hopefully u guys dont get shut down and have real rules in place where we can talk nothin but Browns in this particular part of the forum. i look forward to nice debates and convos with u guys and i cannot wait for this season to start. Browns Turn Up!!!

Welcome! Did Dawgtalkers have a lot of the old members from the original ClevelandBrowns.com forums that they put up back in like 2000? I used to post back then, and thought I recognized your handle.

Thanks!

So the original board (2000) on Clevelandbrowns.com was "Dawg Talk". They decided to go the cheaper (terrible) route of making it "Browns Chat" which sent I'd venture to say 90% of the long time members running for the hill, to which "Dawg Talkers" was born. I was a mod over at Browns chat for a couple years and it was awful. They have sinced closed down the official forum all together and Dawg Talkers is down right now. I NEED my Browns talk fix!!

So yes, there were a ton of those posters that moved over to Dawg Talkers.

Hey all -

Just interested in talking football with other AFC North fans.

I'm respectful and knowledgeable about every team unlike a lot of drive-by jerks who want to come and troll on other team's boards.

I completely understand that I'll be under scrutiny, which is fine. Like I said, just looking forward to talking football.

Cheers,
WS

Hi All.

Learned about this forum from it being mentioned over at The Browns Board, figured I'd check this one out. Anyhow, what can I tell ya. Cleveland was my family's first home when we came to the USA, where I spent many years of my childhood before we moved to New England. Played high-school football and have loved the sport for as long as I can remember. I'm proud to say that even though we traded homes, we kept out football team! Go Browns!

These days, I'm a bioinformatics analyst (computers + biology) by day and a fiction writer by night. Married, two kids. Looking forward to participating in this forum.

Browns fan from Columbus here. Been watching the Browns play on Sunday since I was a wee tot roughly 40 years ago. The legacy passed down from my pops.

Looking forward to getting to know my fellow fans on this board.
