BARKING HARD Member Introductions and Map... Please drop in and say hello!

Will...we have had a shit ton of QB followers here so don't be surprised to take some guff on that...but welcome aboard. Oh, and it might take some heat off of you if you spell the team name correctly. quickexit

Seriously though, welcome aboard.

Hi guys, I'm a Browns fan from Torino, Italy.
I started following the Browns Board but I got fed up of all the trash, disrespect and homophobic insults that fill every topic of that forum.
I checked this forum for a few days and I like the way you guys discuss the Browns world so...here I am.
It was very difficult being a Browns fan from here in the pre-internet era (specially in the period 1995-1999). Now it's as easy as if I lived in Cleveland. I've got a subscription to NFL Game Pass so I don't miss any snap.
As all of you I live in the hope that some day things will go for the better and my Browns will compete in the playoffs and, who knows, in the Super Bowl. I've got faith in this new management and am looking forward to start a new season, even if this could be a 1 or 2 W one. All I want to see is a growth, something we can build on.
This might be a three year rebuilding plan, so let it be.
And from Torino...GO BROWNS!!!!

Welcome aboard.

Hey All,

I'm Chad, I grew up in Temperance MI area. I have lived in Oregon for about 25 years. Does not look like you are represented yet by my state so I'll take the flag... My father slowly brainwashed me into a Brown fan during the Sipe era. He gave up on PFB when the team left and I carried on. I was somewhat a regular on Waiting For Next Year (under Norv Turner) until Scout took over. Glad to find another forum of educated football minds.

Hey Chad, welcome to the forum. Love the Bubbles avatar man. Hope to see more of your posts, I see you've already braved the waters and started a thread! :)

Grew up in Cleveland listening to the Browns on the radio because they were rarely on TV. Retired to Nevada for no snow and small time betting of college football. Nice to find a forum where the members don't spend the day berating each other. Great Draft! Had Higgins considerably higher on my personal board. They drafted real FOOTBALL PLAYERS instead of what has usually looked to me like a crystal ball vision of something hidden that other teams overlooked. Was hard to find decent game videos since ESPN closed their database this year soon after each game was played. GO BROWNS!

Welcome Nevada John. We try to keep it on the game/team...that is why I like it here and why this board was started. Have to give kudos to the guys running the thing for keeping it on track. Hope to see you around.

Hi,

I am from new Zealand. I have just started following the NFL this year as I have always been into Rugby as that is our national sport over here. When I was in the USA I seen news about the upcoming Draft and decided it looked Intresting so I decided to pick a team and in the end decided on the Browns.

The reason I picked the Browns is because they reminded me of my Super Rugby team the Canterbury Crusaders, for the first few years the Crusaders did not do well but then they worked on bringing up younger talent and creating a real familly atmosphere and playing as a team. The Crusaders now have 7 Rugby championships the most out of any team.

I can kind of see that the Browns are heading in this direction and I love to see a team grow, I now watch every Browns game and I am very impressed by the growth I see and am excited for the future.

Yes I am very new to the NFL so I am still learning all the rules and how it is really played but by reading through these forums it has really helped me alot.

Hey everyone! So I'm just an ordinary guy from Hungary rooting for the Cleveland Browns :)
As you can imagine, football is not a major sport, soccer, and handball are far more popular in Hungary, but still football is catching up by each year. My first contact with game was, when my friend passed me a videogame called madden 07. I said, okay lets try it. Of course I didn't knew any team nor player, not even the rules of the game, so you know I just give it a shot, lets see what happens :) I created a player, and I got drafted by the Browns. After the first game (which felt like a complete mess :D) I started to google the basics, then i gave it another shot. Few days later I watched my first game on TV. To cut this part short this year was a learning experience for me, but eventually I started to root for the Browns.
The next year came and I learned that there will be a draft where they get people from college. OH MY GOD THERE IS ANOTHER LEAGUE WHICH CONSISTS MORE THAN 100 TEAMS!!! :D That was the moment when I started watching college football, and I have to say that I like it more than the NFL :) So Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn ... Didn't knew who they were so I was like " Okay okay start the season already" :D
Soooo... Yeah, here I am nearly 10 years later, still rooting for the same shitty team, but I can't be more proud at the same time :) I already visited this forum a couple of times, and I liked the atmosphere so i wanted to be a part of this :)
Hope I could fit in! (Oh yeah, if my grammar is weak excuse me for it and feel free to correct me! )
Let's Go Browns! :)

Drip, great to have you on board. I think it is pretty safe to say you are the first fan from Hungary here. If I were you I would curse the day the Browns drafted you in Madden...but who knows, maybe this year is the start of a Browns resurgence. Great to have you aboard. Keep posting....and as for your grammar, it is better than some already here, so no worries.

Hi All! Have a unique story on how I started pulling for the Browns. Personally I've been battling depression & anxiety the past few years. My Dad and I got to make it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a few months back along with the Football Hall of Fame. It was one of the best weeks I had in years. I really liked the city of Cleveland along with its peoples. I got some Browns apparel to remind me of that week. I'm still battling my issues but getting there.

A disappointing season this year but I do see hope. The team typically played hard for Hue. The #1 pick and the Eagles pick should help as well. The cap space I think is good as well. Call me crazy but I see good things ahead!
