NFL Free Agency talk

OBJ signing - good job Ravens. You were patient, let the market mature, and then .... overpaid anyways for a near-30 year old, often injured, WR.

Having said that, my bet on what happens with Lamar ...

1) Other teams aren't going to "do the deal for the Ravens", as they can just match it anyway.
2) So, some $ amount will get worked out
3) Harbaugh, who is damn good, will convince Lamar to "screw the owners, let's you, me and the other players give the fans a winner ... as none of them had anything to do with the money"
4) Lamar and OBJ will be ready to roll this fall.

Blowdell will be lucky if he last 6 games this season... It's comical to me...

When Jackson goes down and OBJ has a backup QB he'll be a locker room problem. At least until he gets injured too.
Will he? By all accounts from players in locker rooms he has been in he has been a good teammate and not an issue in the locker room.

Remember it was his father who shared the video about him not getting the ball when open, and was already on the internet prior to his dad sharing

Sure.

All his teammates are absolutely enamored with OBJ and how he broke away from the team in the middle of the season. Just ask them! Everybody loves a guy who quits on them, right?

SSsshhhhiiiitt.

He didn't break away from the team or quit by all reports. The team sent him home for unconfirmed final reason (my speculation it was the relationship between him and Baker).

Browns Players Say Goodbye To Odell Beckham Jr.

One example with player comments. You can also find Garrett comments at the time and after (as well as others).

I agree BM was at least partially responsible for their piss poor relationship, but to absolve OBJ of all wrong doing is just as bad and players are generally not going to publicly throw others under the bus when they're on the record.

Hell, I saw the clip where Clowney was bitching to the camera and D'Ernest Johnson was sitting right next to him talking to him like dude stop, dude stop man stop. The weak legged CLE media, short of that one clip, still has problems listing Johnson as one of the players who heard that rant and tried to get Clowney to STFU. I don't know who the other players in the vicinity were and likely never will because, you know, the weak media.

Bottom line for me and others is OBJ can go to b'more and fuck off there for the rest of his average career. Which is not all that different from BM's career in T Bay.

Baker could still grow.. The other has maxed out and isn't getting better with age...

OBJ and Mayfield were on the field together healthy hardly any at all. When Mayfield was playing good, OBJ was hurt, and when OBJ was healthy, Baker was hurt. It was very bad luck for us. All those videos of OBJ open were when Baker could hardly throw it.

Damn it!
I was starting to like the Stille kid and I'm sure we're getting another DT in the draft. And I've heard how much the FO likes Graham.
