Yah that would be a miraculous shift. If he does so properly we have a shot to do anything.
Call me crazy but it's also year two after Rubio's injury and I think he will be back to his usual self. Problem is we stopped playing that up tempo game that made us unstoppable.

Sorry but Rubio was never that good of a player. he has always been fun to watch. had some magic moments that season.

Rubio was practically a superstar for our team 2 years ago. When we played up tempo he was like a surgeon, and we dominated the league. When he went down we were never the same. Then we changed the offense and now we suck balls.

Terrible assessment. Strus took over 500 three's to Osman's 300. Osman was a small forward and averaged 2.3 rebounds per game. Struss grabbed 3.2 from the shooting guard position.
But if you want to compare apples-to-apples...or equal minutes (for argument's sake)...then we can do that.
Strus vs Osman per 36 minutes:
3pt %:
Strus - .371
Osman - .353
2pt %
Struss - .595
Osman - .512
Pts:
Struss - 15.5
Osman - 14.9
VALUE OVER REPLACEMENT:
Strus - +1.3
Osman - -0.3
Strus is better than Osman by the objective measures in the areas the Cavs need. It's really quite simple. Osman has been a below-average-player who can easily be replaced by anybody (-0.3 value over replacement) his entire career. His replacement value is horrible.
I understand basketball and I'm able to analyze players & stats and responsibilities better than you apparently.

I just showed you that Strus was more productive when given the same amount of playing time. I also showed you that Cedi grades out as a terrible player when he is on the court (-0.3 VOR). It's like you create a narrative in your mind, opposite from reality, and just run with it. Scary...but not surprising.

His job isn't to become an all-star...we have plenty of those. His job is to provide shooting and space the floor for our all-stars...something Cedi couldn't do.
Cedi has zero value in the NBA as a player. The only reason he was even accepted as part of the deal was because of his expiring contract.
