Browns Pick #144, Sheduer Sanders, QB, Colorado

Hers the thing the anti-Sanders croud doesn’t get. Nobody is sure he’ll work out. It’s just that most of a us feel that:

1) The (highly) most likely outcome for Watson is injury or failure. And if he succeeds, & we win like 8, he’s gone in a few months anyway. Yippee.

and

2) The pro-Sanders croud is made of anti-Watson-ites, and Sanders “at least has a chance to be the answer” people.

Heck many are pro-“whoever QB2 is, let’s try him, instead of Watson”.

All Watson has done in the last 5 years is pout, sit out, get suspended, get injured, and sucked.

So, no matter how unlikely QB2 is to succeed (Sanders or whoever), at least it’s not Watson.

And I was accepting when the trade happened.
Entering his 5th year here, no longer.

That's all Sanders hype machine BS. Instead of doing all that why can't we just go by the numbers.

It looked pretty even. They both had a good game and both had a bad game/half.

Monken chose Watson based on his ability to run his offense in an efficient manner. Watson was better at it.

It doesn't mean the offense is going to roll out 35 PPG. Just that there are less ME's and confusion.

Nah, Watson did not look better than Sanders at running the offense. There's some underlying factor that has Watson starting. It has nothing to do with him playing well, because so far this season he hasn't. We might not be much better with Sanders starting, but Sanders isn't #2 because #1 outplayed him.

And I don't see any Sanders fanboyism around here.

Never said Watson looked better, but Sanders hype is working for you.
