Lenny Wilkens, a Hall of Fame player and coach, was named one of the NBA's 75 greatest players and 15 greatest coaches of all time.
While he was our coach we would run into him at the Tangier a few times a year. the man would always look you in the eye and give a nod no matter how busy he might be. he was just a real people person. he would stand out in the hallway after dinner waiting for the show and just gab with us. what a smile. he was crazy good drawing up a play during a timeout for open shots.

So we only had Allen & Hunter (they put up 51) plus the bench. Porter had his best game ever. might not be his highest scoring game but still this was it.
The Heat this year are a running bunch and just out hustling teams. they could not do that to these bench guys. a great win for our guys.
a fun watch for us.

Just me or are you too seeing our big's not being as aggressive as last year ?
I thought Tristan Thompson coached them up last year and they didn't get out maned/rebounded.

And people here are complaining that Mobley should've taken over the game but did not. truth is too many guys were hurt or resting.
It looks to me like the FO & staff have made a decision to play bench guys early in the season to get a better idea of who can play and who they can trust later in more meaningful games.

We ain't winning much when Spida has a game like that.
That's what's happening. don't know about it being a plan. just players missing games.
Never said anything about this before but we have not done anything about getting that 5th starter. we just keep putting in different guys.
Depth Chart says Hunter now that guy. but have those guys started a game together yet ? Hunter was a starter till last year when he was in the 6th man conversation. that surely weakens our bench, more so till Max gets back.
oh for last year rolling around at 15-0
