Think about how hard he has worked for nearly 2 years to make this comeback. he's just 31 years old. and imo due some good luck for all that hard work.I'm not saying this is best case scenario, but if Watson does end up being QB1 somehow, I don't think he finishes the season. Could see 6-4 into the bye week. No doubt there will be rust, and some flashes, but his body likely won't hold up. Sanders comes in and goes 5-2 (or 4-3, to go by my prediction) down the stretch, if he's ready to perform in Monken's system, and the rest of the team is healthy enough. Browns play Wild Card weekend, and then all bets are off. Open up the playbook see what Sanders is made of.
I'm just thinking about this from your 11-6 prediction, how it's possible.
I really don't see Watson playing a full season ever again. He should retire after the Browns release him.
It would mean weve finally found our FQB.I say 9-8A winning record would be a miracle.
That only matters if he doesn't shit all over the field. Do you think he didn't work hard the last 2-3 times for his "comeback"?Think about how hard he has worked for nearly 2 years to make this comeback. he's just 31 years old. and imo due some good luck for all that hard work.
How hard has he worked? I'm not sure. It's been over 16 months since the 2nd surgery. Okay, he's throwing good in shorts. How is he moving? Is he fast? Not much about his athleticism at this point in his career. He's married now and fucking rich. I question how bad he wants it.for all that hard work.
Watson retire????.. when backup QB's play til they are 40 making 3.5 to 5 mil a year as a backup.. That's leaving 30 million on the table.. ?? That's crazy.. he's still a young guy. Just 30 years old.... I mean.. that's a lot of massages..I'm not saying this is best case scenario, but if Watson does end up being QB1 somehow, I don't think he finishes the season. the watson hype is FAKE.
12+ wins.
I say 9-8
My prediction was based on above average QB play so I'm sticking with it. Garrett's departure doesn't affect it. I have much more confidence in our D than you.you two are officially the mayors of crazy town.well, this WAS before the MG trade.
now I think 7-10. 2 games back.
every season..It's all about the QB and offense this season.
every season..
fantasy football too? we are simple excitable creatures who wanna see TD's
but look at brady's last game.his D lost the game.D STILL win games.its just not sexy.
I play IDP fantasy FB. all D players are included! IMO, in the AFCN? D is king.
On that we can agree... Offense wins games.. If you can't score... You can't win..There is actually a study that proves D does not win ball games. Oh... and we watched the same in Cleveland... great D's, no wins.
It's an old school saying with no weight.
