Browns Andrew Berry's first 5 drafts

I think we can "call it". AB hit on his first 3 draft picks. Fano and KC looked great. Boston looked the part, it's just the playcalling have him minimal opportunities.

Even if the rest of the draft selections fade off, it's still a great draft.
EMW will probably be added to the Fano/KC/Boston list though.

Barber and Brailsford are 50/50 guys. Barber had some very good reps, but also some whiffs.

The rest of the class are long shots of course.

They left out Sanders. How happy we would all be if he can be the guy. I haven't given up on him, as it seems some here have. Do I think he can be Tom Brady? No. Do I think he could be Dak Prescott? I think he could. The big question is will he? The kid has at least done all he can. Unlike Baker, Sanders worked his ass off after his rookie season. That's a good sign. If he wants it as bad as it seems he does, he's got a chance. One preseason interception won't change my mind.

Funny thing is, if that ball doesn't slip, it's another big gainer and the drive continues.
On the rewatch, Watson was not good if the first read wasn't there.

And here's the diff. Watson, if he's to return to form, shouldn't have to work on cadences, pre-snap stuff, progressions etc. None of it. It should be all fine.

But Sanders get the benefit of being at the start of his career. Not just trying to rediscover magic of last decade. Mistakes are way more acceptable from a football standpoint and definitely from a fan standpoint. Until Watson proves it, every non-scoring drive and mistake will likely get booed.

Just my occasional review of these last two clases. Barber’s recent play made me want to look back

I love the way AB is no longer "volume drafting". He moves up in the 2nd-5th rounds now to get the guy he wants.

No way we use all 11 picks in 2027.

"The more players you select, the better the odds on hitting on one" is no longer the MO.

Maybe that was Depo-math.
