If I were the football helmet czar, I’d go this route. I think it's the one Chubb signs on occasion. The color rush stripes on a brown lid.

It's about the only version I'd be into.
I'm okay with the dawg logo for fan gear, and same with the elf, but I don't want either one on a helmet.
Most I've seen are meh to bad, like this, which is "ok" I guess (as again, at least it isn't forcing a logo on us) …
