NFL Draft Draft season and talk -‘26

so,we can have 4 QB's? we already have 2 major projects underway, very promising too IMO
1 vet,2 rooks (well,1 yr in) QB would be "normal " roster spots no?
monkens going to pressure us for a QB we dont need.
greatest show on turf incoming! monkens OFF will split the sky like a sheet!
we play outdoors in terrible weather here.lets focus on throwing! stupido

this years draft is special, loaded with talent and we have an incredible lineup of picks
2026 could transform the CB in a 90's dallas kind of way into greatness.
Its that good.
I just wish JS was HC leading this team into the playoffs.

I'd take a QB around 3 or 4 every year if it fits. There is no pressure to the current starter, the kid can sit, lear and develop.

I'd add to @The Haymaker we could flip a QB in a trade and everyone knows the 4th QB in camp is just an arm for practice. Right now, for the Browns it's trade bait if we draft a guy between Dillon or his competition.

We dont have 2 "major projects".
We have one career backup at best and one flip of the coin - Sanders either sucks balls or will turn into a good player.

I’m praying Dillon was a 99% Stefanski pick, and discarded after serving as a camp-arm this summer.

Here at the 16 invited QB’s for next weekend

• Luke Altmyer (Illinois)

We need a vet to compete with Dillon and Sanders
dont we got watson? who are we going to draft better than gabe? hes good but yeah,a better vet?sure.
terrible draft at QB.lets just get the run game resurrected first and go from there.
its going to be a battle to get near 500.incredible draft.dont blow it berry.

CJ DONALDSON "the powerback" 7th rd sleeper, 3 years 10+ TD,6'2" 230+

Watson wont play a snap.

I know jack about the QBs and how we'll draft but if go for a QB late I'd like to see Altmeyer from Illinois. What little I saw from highlights suggested he's got some zip and accuracy.

I asked Grok about trade options 🤷‍♂️

Trade idea 1

Dallas receives
• 6th over all & take Downs

Browns receive
• 12th overall
• 2027 2nd rounder
• 2027 2nd rounder

Trade idea 2

Rams receive
• 6th overall
• 107th overall

Browns receive
• 13th overall
• 93rd overall
• 2027 1st rounder

Dane Brugler on CBD at the combine, and I’m buying what he’s selling.

If you love and OT and WR at 6, take the OT. There’s a better chance a WR you like will be there at 24, vs an OT you really like at 24.

He says Fano and Mauigoa are the top two OT’s, and half the teams feel Mauigoa should move to guard.

Thus, maybe the non-trade-down move to make would be draft Fano, then weigh WR vs another OT at 24.

I heard Brugler too. He also liked WR Omar something or other out of Indiana at 24 for us and a few other guys.
Said Jordan Tyson and his injury history may cause him to slide to 24.
I love Tyson's play, but he takes forever to heal. That hammy injury is from 4 months ago.
There is an uncommon type of hamstring injury which takes a long time to heal, and can even require surgery, but if it's THAT type, then we ought to simply steer clear. It's a very deep WR class.

So, he's either an often-injured slow healer, or, he has one wicked-ass hammy injury. Either way, it throws up red flags.

Sounds like the perfect pick for the Browns... They always take flyers on these types...
