NFL Draft Draft season and talk -‘26

If you combine last year's draft class and this years, many have it as Mendoza then Ward and Sanders as a tie, then the rest.
I'd rather load the team otherwise.
Sanders went 3-4, and was one Jeudy goofy INT from 4-3, with a horrible OL, horrible run game, etc etc.
I'd rather roll with Sanders and draft BPA otherwise. Simpson won't be BPA until Saturday.

Per usual, what tha fuck do I know though.

With top-30 visits being reported, here's a list from last year for reference
We drafted 5 of them. Sanders, Judkins, Bond, Fannin, and Graham. The most notable omission is Schwesinger. Didn't have Dillon or Dylan in either.

  • Cam Ward (Miami)
  • Shedeur Sanders (Colorado)
  • Jalen Milroe (Alabama)
  • Tyler Shough (Louisville)
  • Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)

Running Backs (3)

  • Quinshon Judkins (Ohio State) — often noted as not counting against the 30 (local)
  • Cam Skattebo (Arizona State)
  • Bhayshul Tuten (Virginia Tech)

Wide Receivers / Hybrids (5+)

  • Travis Hunter (Colorado — WR/CB)
  • Isaiah Bond (Texas)
  • Tez Johnson (Oregon)
  • Tai Felton (Maryland)
  • Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona)

Tight Ends (4)

  • Harold Fannin Jr. (Bowling Green)
  • Mason Taylor (LSU)
  • Elijah Arroyo (Miami)
  • Terrence Ferguson (Oregon)

Offensive Line (1)

  • Will Campbell (OT, LSU)

Defensive Line / Edge (7)

  • Abdul Carter (EDGE, Penn State)
  • Nic Scourton (EDGE/DE, Texas A&M)
  • Mason Graham (DT, Michigan)
  • Derrick Harmon (DT, Oregon)
  • Deone Walker (DT, Kentucky)
  • Omarr Norman-Lott (DT, Tennessee)
  • (Additional late reports sometimes included others in this group)

Linebackers (2)

  • Nick Martin (LB, Oklahoma State)
  • Jalon Walker (OLB, Georgia)

Defensive Backs (1)

  • Jordan Hancock (CB, Ohio State)

If tate is there at #6 you just take him..no choice.then conventional wisdom says you
trade up for freeling to @14-15 to get him and burn picks
then he gets hurt or plays mediocre or another guy picked later goes all pro
you just never really know for sure.so truth is it doesnt matter THAT much to
get "your" guy. just get a good prospect and make him great.freeling is ideal
but whos to say a lomu doesnt "fillout" as he ages and goes all pro?

case and point? why did we trade up for JOK with nick bolton on the board in 2021?
dont do that.
If things dont go great and we get proctor or cooper?we double up with dunker or jakobi lane.

so its plan A tate at 6.plan B trade back a place or 2 and get freeling then
WR at @20-24 If we are lucky boston, tyson, brazzell and cooper.
we just need one of these guys & its the start of an amazing draft
LETS GO!

LOVE THIS MOCK

FROM ATHLON SPORTS ON MARCH 6TH WHERE WE END UP WITH THREE FIRST ROUND PICKS THIS YEAR

6. Dallas Cowboys (from CLE)*

David Bailey | Edge | Texas Tech

Cowboys get: No. 6 overall , No. 39 overall

Browns get: No. 12 overall, No. 20 overall, No. 112 overall

After trading for Tytus Howard, the Browns filled their immediate need at right tackle, and they could be more interested in trading back than taking the top receiver off the board here. Instead, they move back and add a third first-round pick, moving up from their second-rounder and netting another fourth-round pick to aid their rebuild.

At #12 we take Monroe Freeling OT Georgia
At #20 we take Denzel Boston WR Washington
at #20 we take Avian Terrell CB Clemson
at #70 (3rd round) we take Keylan Rutledge OL GA Tech
at 107 (4th round) Torian York LB Texas A &M
at 112 (4th Round Logan Jones OL Iowa
*****it's only a 4th round mock. This is quite nice actually: 3 OL picks in the first 4 rounds.. .... Get a stud CB to work up to replace Ward who's not getting any younger.. A LB.. to replace Devin Bush in round 3.. I believe we must take a big WR in round 5 (Isaiah Bond is already our speed component and I believe he could be a good one..and is going to be the REAL steal of last years draft unless Shedeur balls out.. .. then BPA after that. (Re-sign Bitonio for one more year and the OL is pretty well set with the backups on the roster right now) and possibly one more F/A at C or G
