You need to win a trade like that with the Cowboys.

Been here from the beginning.
You can't put picks on the field.
The Browns have not had a high grade receiver in sooo... long.
After a while you have to stop kicking the can down the road.
Even if the Cowboys would assure the Browns that they're not taking Tate,
one of the teams @ 7,8,9,10,or 11 certainly would. And he would be gone by 12.
At the 5 spot Harbaugh and his guys might also grab Tate.
Then Berry would have to move on to plan B anyway.
FWIW, most sources are reporting the Browns have had visits with 8 guys with WR beside their names.
That's out of the estimated 13-14 visits so far.
A WR is very likely. Getting a read on Berry's round one priority list is the hard part.
He might decide to go WR on day 2. Especially if Tate is gone.

Listening to a lot of NFL Radio, and it seems like every non-Vegas team in the top-15 is talking about trading down to acquire more assets.

That's why I bring up options IF Tate is gone and we have no trade partner at 6.

A: Idk, but if Love is there he's a possibility as well as Downs or arguably the best OLineman even if he is a Guard, Francis Mauigoa.
The bigger point is we can't afford to draft a developmental player at 6 and hope he pans out.

I don't think we can pass on Love if he's there. I've been saying he reminds me of a more physically gifted Fannin Jr. Dude is a football player deluxe. I think he's the best player in the draft. Put him in the slot, of the backfield, all over the place. And if Judkins needs a rest. . . .
