So true man, I was watching that special Brown's fan episode on NFL network with JT sitting in his Bernie Jersey (bless 'em). What I took away from it was a rational look at what we have and the skeptic that it's too good to be true. If this roster was Pittsburgh or New England odds would be unquestionable 4-1 for a S.B. We are built for the long haul (5 years). Your right that does not mean we can walk through the door. Dorsey will make mistakes, Baker could have a sophomore slump. Kitchens could shit the bed and loose the team. This fucking curse could be over...

Today I believe it's real. Don't ask week six. Belief is fragile man. But after watching Seattle for the past 7 years I know the window is small. As soon as you realize it's opening it's closing.
 
Guys, we haven't had a team this talented with this much promise since 1994...the last time we won a playoff game. To put that into perspective, we haven't had this much hope and promise in 25 years. I bet a lot of folks here don't even remember 1994. I was 15 and we had season tickets since before I was born, so I remember it very clearly. Of course, the next year that POS Modell brought all that hope crashing down...and Tagliabue's was too much of a pussy to do the right thing. But I digress...

For the first time in 25 years, Dorsey is constructing a team that is giving me that kind hope again. We are going to the playoffs and winning our first playoff game in 25 years this season. Get ready...this is going to be a fun ride.

I think if Berry was gonna happen, it woulda happened. Pretty soon I'll say the same about Burnett, although the latter hasn't been plagued by injuries.

The bigger mystery for me is Tre Boston.
 
Rough when impossibly explosive athletes like John Wall and Eric Berry (both posted 43" verts) run into lingering Achilles issues. It can sap so much of what made them special.

Beyond Dorsey's familiarity, I bet the Haslams have fond memories of watching Berry pick off everything at UT. Hope he's able to at least converge on that pre-injury version of himself, maybe in CLE.
 
I’m reading the vets like Berry will sign in June or July, unless they get a can’t-refuse type of offer. Reasonable offers can wait.

As Jerome Bettis once put it, you get to the point you don’t mind “doing that vet thing”, and sign late to skip the off season practices.

That's a great point Ocon.. I remember Clay Mathews late in his career passing on the early team practices when in the twilight of his career.. I'm still pissed hes not in the HOF.. The HOF committee needs an Enema shoved up its ass!
 
Well we have to address the SS issue. We cannot live in a fucking dreamland where Kindred is the reincarnation of Steve Atwater. This rainbow and unicorn BS gets promulgated every year and..... those dumbass pipedreams fall apart within a few games. It doesnt have to be Berry it could be a rookie with some game but it must get fixed. For this team to win in a big way we cant have special teamers filling vital roles in the starting line-up. I for one am tired of seeing our Browns getting their asses kicked. Really arent you?
