Obviously, any play caller is going to look better when he has talented players executing at a high level versus the opposite.
That said, Monken deserves a ton of credit for consistently putting his players in positions to succeed. One of his biggest strengths is identifying his playmakers and scheming up ways to get the ball into their hands. He does an excellent job creating favorable matchups, attacking defensive tendencies, and maximizing the strengths of the personnel he has available. Monken’s offenses are typically well-structured, adaptable, and built around what his players do best rather than forcing players into a specific system. That’s a big reason his offenses have been productive at every stop, from Georgia to Baltimore... and why I believe his offense will be productive in Cleveland.

After being pro-Watson for the last 4-5 years, I'm now pro-Sanders. Younger. Durable. etc.
I think Watson's high-end is more than Sanders, but Watson's best days are likely past him. And, Sanders' peak is unknown tbh.
But, back to Monk, if he can win Natty's with Stetson flippin Bennett, I'd really like to see what he can do with Sanders, Q, Fannin, and these new WR's.
Imagine if we can he can get this core clicking

LT1 - rookie
RB1 (bell cow)- 2nd year
RB2 (3rd down back) - 2nd year
QB1 - 2nd year
If by the damn grace of god this works, the post-Depodesta era is off and running.
