Browns Pick #144, Sheduer Sanders, QB, Colorado

It was a certain demographic of NFL fan, not Cleveland fans, that voted Shedope into the Pro Bowl strictly based off of his race. They've been doing it for years with other talentless Quotabacks.
Every post you make shows two thing 1) You're a racist 2) You're a retard.

Sanders is popular and polarizing. He gets clicks and views. They didn't add him because of his race. It's easy to see that they added him because they think it will help viewership and get eyeballs on a dying all-start game.

But continue to make retarded takes and sound like a racist old man. It gives the rest of us something to laugh at.

This is the vibe being laid down in Cleveland last weekend. Monken digs Sanders. He’s the QB he talks about every day.

Aka … Todd “I won 2 natty’s with f’n’ Stetson Bennett for Christ sake, so yeah, give me Sanders” Monken.

I’m no Mel Kiper fanboy
And we all know Mel is a massive Shedeur supporter.

Having said that, this was a fun interview.
I love how rapid fire he is. He knows the prospects like we do, and he whipped through the fits and needs of the Browns as easy as any of us.

He can recall the last 2 months of the Browns season better than I can. And, he’s not wrong, on the Sanders stuff.

Rarely does a national guy have a pulse on our Browns as good as us daily addicts do

Starting at the 0:40 mark, he shoots through bird’s eye view of the Shedeur games with ease.

He feels Sanders was QB1-2 last year, and this year he’d be QB2 behind Mendoza.

Inject it into my veins.

Revisiting the Sanders naysayers from last spring...

One of the knocks was "he's throwing to the Heisman winner, and a lot of his WR's are going to get drafted. THAT's why he's doing well"

In 2025 ...
  • Hunter caught 28 passes for 298 yards (10.6 avg.) & 1 TD on 45 targets before injury. He's rumored to move to CB primarily for 2026
  • Jimmy Horn had 11 receptions for 108 yards
  • LaJohntay Wester has 0 receptions, but did some returner work
  • Will Sheppard had no stats

Now, the pro-Sanders types said (of his Colorado days)
  • He's doing it with a bad OL
  • He's doing it with no running game
  • He's doing it in Shurmur's bad scheme
  • He's durable
  • His pocket awareness isn't talked about enough, nor is his athletic ability
  • His WR's aren't all-that, outside of Hunter

So, it's reasonable to hope he can be NFL-successful with
  • At least a medium grade OL
  • Judkins and Sampson
  • Monken's system
  • At least one elite WR

My pref is to go all-in on a stud OL. It helps Monk's system, it helps the running game, and it gives Sanders time to throw in a balanced run/pass offense.

Improve the WR's? Sure. But, start with, and prioritize, the OL.

Bottom line: Draft OT at 6, and again at either 24 or 39 depending on how the draft falls
(of course, we'll see what comes of trades and free agency in the coming weeks)

2 cents per usual

tate is offboard overboard? by 6, so modest trade back 3 places to KC 9th for love.
got an extra 3rd (Haulcy). got freeling at 9.brazzell is overlooked 1000+,9 TD, 6'4"+
Slaughter could fill a guard spot.talent like A.J. Haulcy in the 3rd? this draft is insane.
crazy white boy plays like the brudda from another mudda, fellow 3rd rd pick #47lynch.
drop delpit back to his naturel FS spot where he can run the D.haulcy at SS. 2xLSU tigers
