He was and he plays a physical brand of OLine! This is a perfect switch between him and Jones on the DLine stunt.

The national talking heads focus on our first four draftees in Fano, KC, Boston, & EMW.

But, recall AB moved up to get this guy.

I loved his phone call with Berry. "Let's f***in go" extremely loud numerous times. Definitely has rmean streak. Looking forward to a few skirmishes this year.

Plus the guy just looks the part. Big. Athletic. A grinder.

I wish Dawand had worked out, but it seems like he's destined to be a depth OT at best. Walks like a duck. Easily injured. Bad at run-blocking.

But Barber may be plug-and-play at T and G.

We need another guard so if he can do it at a high level it would be PHENOMENAL!

He’s had the best preseason in his draft class.
I almost feel better about him succeeding than I do EMW.

Question now is can he play RT? If so we have our two starting Tackles and a quality backup in D. Jones. We have Brailsford who is a huge question mark at Center, but if he can be a solid starter at Center this OLine can take off.

Guards can be found all over the draft and FA.

He’s done well there too.
We have an excellent depth piece for the right side.

So, among all OL, not just rookies, Barber is top-20 this preseason, out of 400+ who have taken snaps.

Wyatt Teller? 394th.
Love me some Wyatt, but he’s done.

Barber may be the sneakiest big win for AB out of the last 2 draft classes.

It sure feels like AB, now with Depo gone, has found his groove. I love the way he’s moving to up get his targets on draft day.
