Nah, it's not puzzling at all when you really think about it.
The DEI nerd hive thinks they're the smartest people in the NFL. They're obsessed with this idea. This is why Moneytard constantly has pulled his bullshit with drafting high SPARQ score QB's that meet zero NFL caliber metrics, later in the draft. He desperately wants that one big payoff where his ineffective system finds the next 1 in a million, later draft franchise QB.
The only time since he has been here that we have drafted a QB in round 1 has been when Dorsey sat him down in the Cuck chair, threw his shitty little analytic reports in the garbage where they belong, and drafted Mayfield.

• 63.0 vs Vikings
• 51.1 vs Steelers
• 47.6 vs Dolphins
• 43.2 vs Pats
Heckuva trend.
Not saying Sanders is the-guy either, but literally any QB in the league can complete these screens and check-downs.

The offensive line is cooked. We don't have many weapons. Gabriel is not long-term solution.
Honestly, we need to lose out and get ahead of the Jets for Mendoza. Don't overwork Judkins. Take a good look at Sanders.
Win the offseason again and hope for better results next season.

Zappe has 9 starts in four seasons..
Ski has the bye week to think about it before they travel to play the Jets.
The Jets game (with their lone single point win) might be a good time to send Sanders out there.
I wouldn't want his first start to be against the Ravens.
Then his second start would be at home against the Ravens. With the crowd cheering for him.

1000% agree with Daryl. While Gabriel is a nice guy and a good kid, he isn't a starting caliber QB in the NFL. It was a horrible pick, and their insistence on forcing him is atrocious.
