Xavier Watts, who some here wanted AT THE TIME of the lil' Dil' pick (this isn't a hindsight thing) is balling out tonight.

I'm starting to wonder with the fall of Sanders, the choice of Gabriel instead of Watts, etc, really just confuses teams away from the real eval ... THE TAPE.

 
Honestly it is the analytics crap getting in the way.

The old school method has always been: You watch the game tape and see what the player brings to the table, see if he is instinctual, compare it to others at the position, do some interviews with other team mates and coaches and go from there.

The modern NFL analytical nerds ignore all of that and plug a bunch of pointless stats into an algorithm and follow a computer generated ranking print out.

It’ll be interesting to see if he makes it through waivers, because they aren’t gonna going try to slip elite athlete Green through.

DG is going to have to shine in preseason 2nd half’s to be tradable.
 
In retrospect its easy to see what happened.
KS staked his future on DG.Insisted starting him & sank with that ship.
It wasn't team 1st pulling sanders at critical times..It was his EGO 1st after all.
he was so single minded thinking DG was the next drew brees the
sanders bargain was simply ignored.stunning immaturity IMO for an NFLHC.
It was the right move to fire KS & to give berry another shot.1 more draft..
a top HC can change his mind.shame we baby bathwatered JS.damn shame but
jimmy has played out of the DW disaster/sand trap and baby we are on the green now.
