NFL POSSIBLE MAXX CROSBY MYLES GARRETT TRADE DEAL - HYPOTHETICAL

raiders get-MG
browns get-maxx & 2nd rd pick #36 '26 draft & 1st rd pick '27 draft

why?
hes close to BAL where he was moving to anyway 2 weeks ago
hes hurt but is 2 years younger than MG coming of 5 straight probowls
the raiders dont need their #1 pick in the '27 draft for a QB & are in fullblown win now mode
the raiders load up at WR in the '26 "WR"draft with 8 other picks
maxx gets to destroy BAL's hopes & dreams/MG goes to a bright lights future contender
WIN/WIN

probably 1 of only 2 players I would consider trading MG for.

Trading for Myles Garrett: Raiders Perspective
With Myles Garrett's recent contract modification making him a more viable trade candidate, the Raiders are a theoretical suitor, though significant hurdles remain.

Financial AspectMGCrosby
2026 Cap Hit~$8.34 million$35.79 million
2026 Base Salary$1.3 million$30 million
Trade Value3+ First-Round Picks2 First-Round Picks (nixed)

  • Cap Feasibility: Because the Cleveland Browns have already paid Garrett's bonuses, a team trading for him in 2026 would only inherit a low cap charge of approximately $8.34 million. The Raiders could easily afford this with their current $23M+ in space.
  • Draft Asset Constraint: The Raiders would likely need to offer at least three first-round picks to land Garrett.
  • Financial Feasibility: Experts noted that the Browns could theoretically acquire Crosby and use a salary restructure to drop his immediate cap hit to roughly $7.73 million.

A major reason the Raiders were trading him was to shed his salary, gain assets for their rebuild. You know... the same thing we are advocating the Browns do with Myles?

They aren't trading him for an older player with another huge salary. That makes zero sense for that organization.

And for MG who has a no trade clause in his contract. Why would he leave here to do the same rebuild there?

Dallas or Houston for sure. He might make an exception for his hometown area & maybe New Orleans or Denver right off the rip.

yeah right? they wouldn't be interested in MG! lol ok.crosby is great..
but hes not one of the greatest ever.raiders would JUMP at this deal.
they'd try and offer just next years 1st.which could be terrible If they win.
maxx=2x1st MG=3x1st so maxx & a 1st is fair on paper

for me we just keep the best DE in FB.If we were forced to trade him
this trade would make sense gun to my head
we do need to figure out how we get into the top 5 picks next year
without getting "starched for arch" this season
why dont we just burn our 2x 1sts this year & just go get maxx? fu#k the OFF.
LETS GO!

Unless you know zero about the NFL and ball in general, you would understand that LV is doing... and it's not acquiring high priced players. It's rebuilding. They absolutely would not trade Crosby and a bunch of assets for Garrett. The free agent class they just signed wouldn't allow it based on the cap room they had left when they thought they had traded Crosby.

Really man... either you are trolling or are clueless. Enjoy the thread. I can't with this mind-numbing idiocy.

No way.

If I'm the Raiders, I go all-in on weaponizing the offense for Mendoza. You need picks for that, which is why they tried to unload Crosby for more picks.

They aren't trying to build, with less picks. They aren't in win-now mode.
Their QB is a rookie. That's build-mode.

And the last time an edge player was the missing piece hasn't ever happened.
But the right QB with the right weapons has success on many teams, every year.
There are tons of Super Bowls won with average edge play and elite QB play.
There are zero Super Bowls won with average QB play and elite edge play.

Micah, Myles, and Max have been all been on teams whereby, as the QB and weapons goes, is how the season goes.
