We then draft Carnell Tate, a pile of OL, then QB Brendan Sorsby from UC in the 4th.
Another de-prioritization of the QB approach. Not a fan.
Well, unless Sanders works out in December. Then, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

There's going to be a good QB to take in the draft. Mendoza is starting to separate, but there's Beck, Klubnik & Nussmeier not to mention others.

I haven't watched much of Simpson, but I'm ok with anyone of these kids.

That depends on where in the first round too. If we were to move up to get Mendoza, I'd be good. If we decided to build out the roster and hold for whoever else with the 3rd, 4th or 5th pick I think it would be a quicker path to respectability in the long run. That's the scouting department's task. To grade out these QB's into their proper draft slot and a QB like Simpson, Beck, Klubnik or Nussmeier come into play.

I'll roll with either philosophy for this draft, but I'm leaning on keeping both 1st round picks. We need a huge boost of talent on the offense and Bitonio & Conklin are more than likely leaving after this year as well as we need a WR and have salary cap (Watson) restraints.
