It might have been single read or he was seeing the entire left side of the field with out turning his head much.
He had 3 targets to pick from over there.
It's most likely he stared down his target though.

He's playing better and better. Texas really misses Golden and Bond. The new NIL receivers we got have not panned out, though they are improving. Arch suck at OSU, but holy shit those OSU D-backs absolutely covered up our receivers, and when they did get open, Arch missed them. Our offensive line also lost some good dudes and the young guys have not played nearly as well as expected. Arch was clearly over-hyped, but he has said all along he's starting at least 2 seasons before going pro.

I'm a no on Simpson. He usually struggles against pressure, and I don't think he has the tools to be a good NFL QB.

Garrett Nussmeier & Drew Allar will need to be thoroughly scouted due to HC incompetence/malfeasance on top of their injuries.

It all but eliminates us because there are about 32 QB coaches who see Allar and say to their organization, "I'll make him a top 5 QB"!!
