@jaydog I'm sticking with my prediction that Howard may be the best QB drafted last year when all is said and done. I do hope Sanders makes Howard the 2nd best QB taken.

I fucking hated (and predicted) the Steelers getting him. What a great place for Howard: one or probably two years working with Aaron Rodgers, no pressure at all, and by all accounts, the Steelers love him and so does Rodgers. Kid is big and tough and competitive and he can win in the AFC North.
 
Pit loves him because they drafted him. If it's true that Rodgers loves him it's because he knows Howard isn't a legit threat.

Cam Ward, like Sanders, is playing better & better with the Titans. I hope Howard does well but he's a backup.

Only time will tell. Howard played his ass off in the playoffs for the Bucs and is a leader of men. And he's very physically gifted. And he's in a perfect place. He's got a shot at being a great NFL QB, in my opinion, of course.

I was very high on Howard coming out last year.. I was pissed we took Gabriel over him.. Then Shadeur... Howard just has something these two do not have... That "IT" thing they talk about... Howard is from the Pittsburgh area.. So you gotta believe he's gonna work his tail off regardless..

If the Raiders don't take him, the Jets will, or they'll bid against us. If we decide Mendoza is the next coming, I can get on board. But I'm hoping the 5th rounder works out.
 
I’m not an Allar fan in the first. But in the 4th and beyond? Sure.

I mean, Will Howard is also 6’5” 240, like Allar, but won way more with better stats, and was still drafted in the 6th round (185 overall).

1. Raiders——-Need a QB

2. Giants

3. Jets———Need a QB

4. Titans

5. Cardinals———Need a QB

6. Commanders

7. Browns

Someone, maybe Kiper (?), has us trading up to take Moore/Mendoza, and the Giants taking our two first rounders, and drafting Tate and an OT. Basically, doing what we all wondered about doing if we ended up with the 2nd overall pick.

Our D is decently healthy. We might give Cinci a run for the money.
 
I could give a fuck less about "stats" over the whole picture, nor what these 125lb nerds on draft websites are saying. Drew Allar is a 1st round caliber prospect that was stuck on a garbage ass team with a garbage ass coach.

And I fully expect to take massive amounts of shit for that take, just like when I said Andy Dalton was the best QB in his draft class and only legitimate 1st round prospect(dead on correct), that Patrick Mahomes was the best QB prospect to come out since Peyton Manning(dead on correct), that Josh Allen was the best prospect in his draft class etc. I'll take that heat and put my QB scouting skills against the internet nerd hive minds anyway.
