NFL Draft QB Draft Watch 2026

Did I miss something?
Yes... you said 'IF' true.

Anything Clemson related that I tell you is 1000% true. I have friends on the staff. I am friends with former players who are around the program. I am friends with an agent who represents players who are on the team... or going to the NFL. I am friends with a guy who's dad is one of the most famous players in program history and on staff. I know every relevant Clemson media member. I [somehow] got added to a chat group with players and recruits (I just watch).

If it's Clemson related, I know the truth.

And that's what it boils down to. Monken is a Cuck for the RB wannabes and Schwartz likely wanted a legit QB.

I just don't get all of the Monken hate from you... I honestly thought there was no way in hell he would take this job.. But here we are... I'm willing to cut him some slack and see what he does.. Just face the fact that no ones beating down Schwartz's door for a coaching interview... Let that sink in.. Remember... This guy couldn't win with Stafford,Megatron and Suh.... Now I'm sure some of that wasn't all of his fault.... He's not getting a call from the Raiduhz or the Cardinals either... He should reconsider his position and be the badass DC he is and coach the defense.. I don't think there are any teams out there with much better personnel.. I'm actually feeling positive for once... if after 2 seasons nothing has changed.. Then we'll call it as we see it...

And yet it still comes down to QB play and for the Browns the OLine. The WR's need a boost too but if the QB play is solid it allows AB to focus on those areas of concern.

It comes down to QB play in the NFL period...

It's the most important position in sports and nothing else matters until you have QB figured out. Look at NE. Drake Maye had an MVP season in year 2 and they are in the Super Bowl. Cohn unlocked Trevor in Jacksonville and they had their best season in a long time. Johnson got Calab Williams playing like Joe Montana... playoffs.

It's all about QB. Everything else is secondary.

Tell that to the Bengals. I guess Burrow just isn't good enough.

So your take is the Bengals would have won multiple Super Bowls with that defense if Joe Burrow hadn't missed any games?

Again, you aren't making the point you think you're making.

My overarching point isn't that the only thing that matter's is QB play. It's that it is the most important thing that matters and that nothing else matters until that is figured out.

Oh I think I am. QB isn't EVERYTHING. It is the most important thing. But not the only thing.
Nowhere did I say it was everything and the only thing that matters. But it's simply the FACT that it is the most important thing on a football team and nothing else matters until QB is figured out.

NE had a 60% turnover in team personnel from 2024 to 2025. The Bears are about 50% from 2024 to 2025. the reason they were able to make these massive player changes is the fact they have good QBs on rookie contracts. NE would not have made the playoffs this year without those changes and neither would the Bears.

"It's all about QB. Everything else is secondary."
Secondary doesn't mean, "doesn't matter". This means exactly what I said above.

Holy hell.....

Did Beck play at Clemson? Idk. If he did I missed that.

Beck played at UGA and Miami.

I do have some really good UGA sources including, a recruiter who works directly with UGA coaches; an agent who represents players; a big money booster who is personal friends with Julio Jones and other former players who reside in the ATL area.

One day I was at dinner with him and a couple other buddies, and out of the blue, Roddy Jones showed up and hung out with us, lol. He didn't go to UGA, but is in the area and coaches high school ball.

Point being, UGA is a program that I have ties to. I was told Beck was a dumbass. Not bright at all. His teammates hated him because he was more worried about NIL money, fame and his lambo than playing football. He's also just not very good. Makes a lot of dumb decisions and throws a lot of dumb INT's. He folds under pressure and can't be counted on in pressure situations.

That is the read I've been given. I want nothing to do with him. Maybe in the right system with the right OC and a lot of talent around him he can be serviceable. He isn't as good as Sanders. He isn't as good as a guy like Sawyer Robertson who is getting no love. We don't need another project who would be drafted early (out of need). We can take a guy like Robertson on day 3 and get a more talented QB for cheaper IMO.

I didn't think he played at Clemson but I don't follow that closely either. Good information right there @The_QCT.

Tyvm. I am off the Beck thing outside of a 6 or 7 then. Something easily thrown away if needed. The last thing this team needs are headache players and dummies.
