NFL Draft QB Draft Watch 2026

I still like Klubnik. I watched three Clemson games and it seemed to me their receivers sucked, kind of like my Longhorns this year - failed offensive line and skill players. Not sure why that team fell apart like it did. But it sure wasn't all Klubnik. Kid has a ton of talent.

Klubnik is terrible. Changed plays at the LOS without consent from the staff (not one worked all year BTW). Makes horrible decisions. Was not a leader of mean (most teammates don't like him).

The WR room was fantastic. Moore, Wesco and Williams was as good of a 3 as you will find in the nation. Betancour was stud TE.

The OL did have issues... but that wasn't Klubnik's downfall. It was the idiocy between the ears and not even trying to be friends with most of the team. I have more, but not for message board fodder. Let's just say I'm a Clemson fan and there is zero chance I want him on the Browns. None.

LETS HAVE YOUR TAKE ON ALLAR ?

Q.
Lot's of clay which intrigues a lot of folks. But when I look at actual producation, I'm not a fan. Folded like a chair in every big game, vs every good defense he's ever played. Just terrible when playing Top defenses. Incapable of putting a team on his back an leading them to victory. That is a big deal for me.

That clay is the best part about him. I'd take a shot in the appropriate round late since we have Monken to straighten him out.
Also James Franklin's offensive schemes were shaky. In the couple of games I saw, some of the play calls I saw were head scratchers. Then Allar got hurt and Franklin was let go. I'd say he was let go with cause.

with 2 great young prospects in the wings and we are stuck with DW?
do we really need to draft a qb this year? what we need is another TE after njoku walks.develop these 2 QB's.
OT,WR,G,CB,TE,C,DL,LB,S,RB, monken is a runnin man? our line is a mess.so we take a right tackle as a priority (mauigoa or fano)
and use dunker as a utility/G double up at WR. draft WR and LB in late rounds.our OT get chewed up in this division, injured or
destroyed by these AFCN defences.we need the very best we can get.its time to invest in the trenches.2 of the top 3 picks must be OL.

Cleveland browns 10 picks
Draft Class:
Francis Mauigoa OT
Gennings Dunker OT
Chris Bell WR
Keith Abney II CB
Justin Joly TE
Pat Coogan C
J'Mari Taylor RB
Bishop Fitzgerald S
Josh Cameron WR
Red Murdock LB

Who are the 2 great young prospects?

Sanders has potential. Lil Gabe is a trash can. Neither are sure things that you bet your future on at this point.

Watson is an $80M cap hit after June 1. Not sure how you get rid of him. Although, he has a skill set that Monken was very successful with in Baltimore. Just saying....

No. Unless, it's a late round flyer. Definitely not a priority in the first 3 rounds, minimum.

We roll with Sanders. If he and Monk can hit it off, then we have our way out of the Watson contract. We have franchise QB money on the payroll, and back up money on the payroll.

Only for us, it just happens the QB2 money, is the starter. And the QB1 money, is the back up.
On paper, we're just like other team, financially, with a well paid veteran QB.

Here, to me, are our the three scenarios

Option 1: Sanders and Monken groove, and we've found our HC/QB combo
Option 2: Sanders flames out, and we draft a top QB next year
Option 3: Sanders and Monken do mediumly, and we have to make a mid-first round decision if there is a QB we want in the deep 2027 QB draft class.

The reassuring thing is, Monken has succeeded with a wide variety of QB's. Old Brandon Weeden, short Stetson Bennett, mega-talented but eccentric Lamar. He's been good with outside-the-box players.

I like the idea of going all in this year.great qb class in 27.lets try and win now.
draft key is 2x tackles (r and l) and a C.we re-sign bitonio and teller.
we let njoku walk and draft a te.so basically we go RT,LT,WR,CB--TE,C,RB,S,LB,... in no order but 1st 2 picks set us up to win this draft.
and run the football.
try this formula you draft sim fans.avoid the shiny D hybrids LB or S with high picks.stay true to the trenches!

RT Spencer Fano
LT Caleb Lomu
CB Avieon Terrell
WR Omar Cooper Jr
TE Justin Joly
S Bishop Fitzgerald
RB Adam Randall
C Bryce Foster
LB Kyle Louis
WR Noah Thomas

I mean. . . we're still paying the dude. He has the talent (or at least did) of a top 5 NFL franchise QB. I'm all for giving him a shot at redemption. The only real question is whether or not Watson wants to prove himself here.

He "Had"... That's the operative word... He's washed up.. I wouldn't waste the time..

The question I have is... How has he been treated the past few years ?
If they have been understanding that he's just had nothing but bad luck and they have supported him. hopefully he wants to do well for the team.

The Browns as an organization haven't been critical of him at all, at least not in public. He should, if he has any pride, feel like he owes the Browns a ton.

I'm thinking one thing Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski excel in is a mature and respectful approach.
Freddie was too good old boy, Dorsey was known to be occasionally abrasive, etc. None of those types are currently around.

I suppose part of it is who picked the recent defensive players. Some give zero credit to AB and all the credit to Schwartz, so if that's the case, he may feel like he's proven himself beyond a normal DC. If that's not the case, he still was very likely treated well on the daily.

Fuck him... I'm done with him..

The problem with Schwartz's feet dragging is it could totally fuck the heck out the entire defensive coaching staff. These are guys with lives. The longer he pouts, the longer it's hard on them.

I was responding about Watson...
