The 2016 NBA Finals Warriors vs. Cavaliers

Really just feel depressed and like dog shit

I fucking hate sports, first real cleveland team in a generation and the best team to arguably ever exist in basketball may arise at the same moment

garbage

It's deflating.. This town can't catch a fucking break, even by accident.

I never thought we'd roll the Warriors. It ain't easy winning a championship. They want it as bad as we do. We'll have to find the guys that won't shrink in the moment and roll with them for 48 minutes if we have to.

We have to roll with the shit ass refs too... I mean why bother showing up.. everytime the cavs are about to make a run.. they get in mysterious foul trouble. or it doesnt get called on the other end

Game 2 will tell us what's what.

There's a different intensity on defense from the teams in the west. OKC really turned up the "D" and Golden State matched it and is still on it.

Cleveland will have to really turn it up in order to make a series of it. I'm not sure they can.

Who the fuck are we going to put on Livingston when he comes in? And Kyrie got torched by Barnes and Livingston. When Golden State goes "small," they are still very long. The Cavs will have to sit Kyrie when Curry comes out.

Should be an interesting and telling game on Sunday.

Cant help but feel like what I predicted before the season started is coming true, that we didn't do enough to improve our bench during the off-season. Thier bench won't always be hot like that but Cleveland's bench needs to contribute if we're going to bring a championship home. Both times LeBron sat on the bench, GS pulled ahead at the speed of a finger snap... Also the Cavs need to play better D, specifically Kyrie. They went at him all game long. Livingston, 20 pts? WTF.

Ugly game 1, but hopefully the Cavs learned from it.

GS is an outstanding team. So much so that the guys on the floor are going to have to D up their man with minimal help.
Kyrie was defending the three point line which makes it easier for Livingston to get around him.

They're going to have to sweat it out with good perimeter D, but harass them in the paint...somehow.
It's tough, but not impossible. OKC did it then lost it.

Just four more wins and if we pull out a win in game two everybody's happy.

Tonight is going to be THE game.
We win and we go all the way. The game is at 2 am here tonight. Gotta drink liters of coffee to make it until 5 am...

I'd be surprised if LeBron left Cleveland (then again, maybe not) but I won't be surprised if we lose tonight. However I'd say it aint over til its over. I'd like to think they won't get beat like they did in G1 again. The Bench NEEDS to bring it, the Cavs got walked all over when LeBron was on the bench.

Having watched 100+ Cavs games this year........... this is just disappointing these 2 games.
but what to ? go get KD this off season ? do a trade and sign deal with OKC. is he willing ?

Sure we might be able to pick up a few better role players but they will not be enough to change these last 2 games. imo

Looking at these GSW under todays rules no team from the past would beat them. it would be hard without the 3 point shot. just look at the shooting percentage. bring back hand checking and the Bad Boys they just might getter done.

Taking Mozgov out of his rotation not a good move. he looked lost today rusty as hell. and we could use him at his best. other than that hard to put any blame on Ty.

To win games we must play at our best they far worse than these 2 games.

What a disappointment.
I slept 90 minutes only and I'll be like a zombie at the office.
There's nothing we can do about it: ball don't lie and they're a better team.

Last year with a much worse team, without Love and Kyrie and against top form Warriors we gave them hell until game-6.
We can lose 4-0 as far as I'm concerned against a better Warriors team and still get out of the field with our heads held high.
Giving up in the middle of the third quarter in a pivotal game of the finals is simply inexcusable.
This behavior has got nothing to do with a hypotetical jinx. This is playing without our heart.
This is a self-imposed jinx.

It's hard enough to beat the Warriors 5 on 5.

It's impossible when it's 5 on 8.

Never in my life have I seen a foul on a jump ball. Or at least it's incredibly rare. To call that and miss an elbow to the back of Love's head? Jesus.

And then traveling calls against Lebron on back to back possessions. The odds of this are approximately in line with seeing the abominable snowman eating lunch with Elvis on a UFO piloted by Bigfoot.
