The 2016 NBA Finals Warriors vs. Cavaliers

Jaydog, I gotta ask... what's the difference between what Lowry did in the ECF and what Love did last night? Logically, they're the same. Circumstantially they are probably not but I just wondered what your take on that was.
 
I feel like it's deja-vu with last years final except this year we stagnated while GS for the most part all progressed and got better. Draymond Green? WTF. Gotta respect that effort. LeBron was like a ghost on defence, as was most of the Cavs. Not winning shit without some defensive play.
 
On the plus side...

Since the NBA-ABA merger, the home team has won the first two games of the Finals 16 times (not counting the present year).

Only four of those (25%) have resulted in a sweep.

But ten of those series (63%) have gone to at least six games. And two of those ten won the next four for a championship.

So, there's that. I guess. Or I'm grasping at straws for a reason not to suck on the business end of a shotgun.

I thought the same thing at first, but then they said something about concussion protocol is why he didn't come back. Still, Lue should've sat him a few then come back to him. Still again he laid on the floor while the play was going on and at the very least could've got back up. Love looks more and more like Lowry. Soft and coddled waaaay too much and always has a half-assed excuse.

Next up "Shrink like my cock when I was in the Artic Ocean"...Kyrie!
 
We are most likely fucked...in a shit down our leg kinda way. Pretty disappointing. They better show some signs of life. I'm betting they lose 4 to 1...the gentleman's sweep.

I've always had my concerns about Kyrie Irving. But when you are a max player and you disappear on the biggest stage as he has, on either side of the ball, it's especiallyconcerning.

I think he's a very good, but sometimes elite, offensive talent. However he is mediocre as a defender and as a ball distributer. A great point guard would be, at the very least, good at all three aspects but great at one or more.
 
Well.. Mark Price gave us little , or no defense as a starting PG for the cavs... But yeah.. this is disconcerting.

Price was deadly accurate as a passer and a shooter.. Price could shoot from anywhere on the floor much like Curry on a dime!. His foul shooting was a given. I think he holds the record for consecutive foul shots made but.. I'll have to look into that.
 
That was a good video, I never saw Price play but he's highly regarded and IMO probably a much better overall PG than Kyrie.

The bottom line is that LeBron's got to play like a superstar. He's got to be like Mike and take over. Then the game would open up for Cleveland's shooters.

Right now, All LeBron's got is the diesel freight train move to the basket. GS is simply packing the lane and running at shooters. LeBron's got to shoot and hit from the outside to open the game up.

He seems to have lost his confidence on outside shots.
 
They need to play as a TEAM. They need to play as hard as they can....at ALL times. This is the season for shit's sake. This is an opportunity to turn the tide....none of this pacing yourself bullshit. None of this not wanting to give maximum effort bullshit. None of this not wanting to move without the ball bullshit. None of this ISO bullshit. In short.....no bullshit.

I don't think they can do it. They are outclassed by a deeper group of guys that actually WANT to PLAY like a TEAM....that actually WANT to bust their asses..on O AND D.....that are willing to put EGO aside for the greater good.

If we lose we lose....but we fucking go down swinging......I can live with that. Win or Lose....these fuckers don't leave the Q unscathed. I want BLOOD! I wanna see Delly throw Draymond to the floor and rabbit punch him in the nuts! I want EFFORT! I wanna see some PRIDE! I wanna see a group of guys that gave it their all. Is that too much to ask?
