Browns The 2025 hunt for a QB

Pickett starting for the Browns makes sense to me. Before we trade him we should see what he can do. Unless somebody wants to blow us away with a 1st round pick.

I'd consider a pair of 2's depending on the team's projected draft slot.
"Before we trade him"?! For a first?!
He just got here for a fifth.
What has changed?
The guy has been on vacation and threw around in his backyard for all we know.

Or, they're in tank-mode. Maybe they see if Shough can be the guy and if not, oh well, draft one in 2026.
It depends on what Kellen Moore thinks of Kenny Pickett because even if you are tanking, you don't say no to a QB you think could be worth more than the cost of acquisition. Especially with the recent surge of reclamation QB projects.

If Moore thinks Pickett is good, better to have him than not. Even if the plan is to draft a QB next year. Similar to us. You can't have too many shots at this.

A young, experienced NFL starting QB that has won more games than has lost? Naaahh, he's got far more value than a 5 we gave them.

So, I ask this: Who has more value and is likely the better QB? Pickett or Sanders?

I'd say Pickett's value is low, mainly because it's considered to be a loaded QB class in '26, thus, there's not much to be gained for a QB needy team, like the Saints, to trade a draft asset for a QB who will likely just put them in first round no man's land.

Sanders isn't even on the table, and like his draft value, it's all over the map.

Sidenote: I'm still calling out "the circus" fear is 100% bullshit. Jackson State and Colorado loved the attention, and the improvement. Shedeur boasts about how he's not an off field problem, and has the track record to prove it.
