The fan gear thread

Wills going 73 with JT's blessing would be awesome.

Classic orgs shouldn't retire numbers any more. Show them respect, discuss the history, yes. Retire? No.

In the Browns case, 32 and 14, okay, fine. I'd still argue for using them but sure, okay, those two ONLY should be sacrosanct.

The rest should be RESERVED but not RETIRED. So, 19, 82, 66, 44, etc. should maybe be the LAST to be used, if there's an option.

But new players using the numbers of former players is COOL. Those former players blessing it is COOLER. Corey Coleman sucked but it was cool that he talked to Bernie about 19.

In this case, Wills using 73 would be EPICALLY COOL. JT is onboard. Fans have 73. They could have 73 with Wills now too.

That's pretty cool.
 
I'm sure most of you have heard this, but just in case as a PSA

Fanatics is still giving delivery dates of July-September for the new jersey.

I ordered on release-day, just called them, and they say there's no change in delivery dates, so I cancelled.

Call the Team Shop, and they're sticking it in the mail today. 440-824-3427

See, this is the kind of thing they need to put on training room T's, and sell'em like hotcakes to the public. Reminds me a little of the Hoyer / MGK pic, another idea that should have been in the Pro Shop or on line or something.

I get that. But the whole 'muscly dog' or white trash looking 'evil' elf are just horrible and embarrassing. I hope the Browns organization has more class than that. The original Brownie is just fine IMO.
 
QCT's Clemson sorority girl (I believe her name is Becca) absolutely slays me every time, and he uses the hell out of it. I see her in my head when I do a wince sometimes.

I've never liked the bulldog, seems arbitrary and confusing. If we were the Cleveland Bulldogs, sure.

I'm all Brownie all the time. I wanted it on the uniform as a little subtle shield somewhere.
