Browns - The new Andrew Berry | Page 2 | Barking Hard

Browns The new Andrew Berry

I can see why we drafted him.he flashes that swim quickness.that speed/size? play him DE!
were stuffing a racehorse in the middle.a clydsdale he aint.grab any vet NT and viola!
solved.he does flash.

Actually Clydesdale's are workhorses and not race horses. That's why they are seen in Budweiser commercials PULLING the stagecoach loaded with beer.
Graham is a Clydesdale!

well he had better put up better production than '25.
hes playing on a line with truly one of the greats. the QB is ALWAYS
scrambling around the backfield flushed out by MG.
no excuses this year.we want 17 games like you had vs BAL.
Im rooting for ya kid.show us. make the probowl.kill.

"RUSH the QB"
LETS GO!

I have to give Berry an A+ for his handling of the offseason so far. Rebuilt the offensive line with some seasoned vets, added to it in the draft. Concepcion and Boston are great additions to Fanning and Judkins and Jeudy. No excuses for Shedeur or Watson (hopefully Sanders). We should, depending on QB play, be a much better offensive team.

DT's are not expected to rush the QB at a high level.
stop this nonsense - for a 5th overall SACKS are the bar. not just starting
the PROBOWL is the bar for graham ok? over or under 1 appearance? under 1 is a bust.
go look at DT pro-bowlers stats. c'mon man.lawrence & wilkins.'19 - 13 & 17th!
clue-there are zero 1/2 a sack DT's in recent probowls.

It's not so much sacks but pressures up the middle that do so much for a team. Hopefully, that part of his game will mature. But, dude, Graham is an elite wrestler and master of leverage. He's got to get stronger, no doubt. But he's in a pro offseason, with pro nutrition. If he's committed, he's going to be better this year. I'm looking forward to watching him again this season.

Well played. Instead of moving up to get Boston, he sat tight, and still got Boston PLUS EMW - all via sensing of how the draft would fall.

Andrew Berry is only 39 years old, and in his dream job as a GM. He may have found his stride. I think he'll always field reasonable talent from here on out. We just need to find the damn QB.

There can be exceptions made by certain DC's that ask his DT's to rush the QB the same as the DE's. Gregg Williams for example. His whole defense was about QB pressures.

For our defense we needed to defend the run better. We were getting gashed two years ago.

Other things that can play into it are if LB's are better in pass coverage or stopping the run. A DT's role can be adjusted.
